Janey makes another tweak to the laser weapon, opting for corrosive damage this time. She wants you to destroy five Claptrap units that she bought at a discount price, which turned out to be defective. Luckily, they are all located in a small area right outside of where Janey is. There’s no optional objective here, so just shoot and kill.

However, there’s a twist, as when Janey asks you to bring the weapon back to her, Torgue calls over her and asks you to bring it to a place where he can destroy it. This place is in Serenity’s Waste, across the bridge and close to Concordia’s entrance.

All of the malfunctioning Claptrap units are close to each other and can easily be seen thanks to the electricity they’re emitting.

Get there and to the marker, then wait for the beacon to drop down. Grab it and place it where Torgue wants the beacon, as well as the laser weapon, then get to the vantage point and watch the massive explosion. Head back to Concordia and to the bounty board to finish the mission.
