Just like in all Call of Duty games (from Call of Duty 4 onwards), we have scorestreaks. These, unlike in previous Call of Duty games, you obtain by obtaining points for killing, assisting other players, having an UAV up and having teammates kill enemies, etc. This also appeared in Ghosts and Black Ops 2 so if you played them you already know what’s with this. The following is a list of the scorestreaks in the game.

Aerial Recon Drone

In-game Notes: A small, manually piloted, drone capable of tagging enemies.

Streak Cost: 350

Personal opinion: This one is pretty nice. You control a drone and it throws Threat Grenades so you can detect enemies for everyone to see. A must have if you’re a team player.

UAV

In-game Notes: Unmanned aerial vehicle that shows enemies on the mini-map.

Streak Cost: 400

Personal opinion: One of the most useful scorestreaks. This shows your enemies on your mini-map as a red dot. Good for hunting down them enemies. Note that the Perk 1 Low Profile makes you invisible on the mini-map.

Aerial Assault Drone

In-game Notes: A small, manually piloted, aerial drone with a high explosive charge that can be detonated on command.

Streak Cost: 450

Personal opinion: Pretty similar to the Aerial Recon Drone in terms of movement, once you see an enemy you can charge into him and explode. Good for games with objectives to kill multiple enemies with the same Drone.

Orbital Care Package

In-game Notes: A Care Package called in from orbit containing a random scorestreak that has a chance of being the map streak.

Streak Cost: 500

Personal opinion: This one is really cool. You get something totally at random, from an UAV all the way to the Paladin. The closer you call this to the enemies, the better the scorestreak.

Remote Turret

In-game Notes: A deployable, manually controlled, high powered turret.

Streak Cost: 550

Personal opinion: This one is good when you’re defending a position. Note that it can’t do 360 degree turns so if approached from the back its done for. I takes 3 melee attacks to destroy it.

System Hack

In-game Notes: An autonomous cyber attack that disables enemy HUD, radar and reticles.

Streak Cost: 600

Personal opinion: The most horrible scorestreak of them all. System Hack functions pretty similar to an EMP, only that a huge skull appears on your screen so you won’t be able to see a thing. Having Hard Wired Perk 3 helps against this.

XS1 Vulvan

In-game Notes: A manually controlled burst of high-powered directed energy deployed from space.

Streak Cost: 600

Personal opinion: This one is really cool. You shoot a large laser beam to the ground and you kill pretty much anyone that touches it. Note that it doesn’t last long, but if used properly the results can be devastating.

Missile Strike

In-game Notes: A manually guided aerial missile.

Streak Cost: 650

Personal opinion: The Predator Missile from previous CoDs returns. This one is pretty neat as you control the missile as it descends from the sky and you instantly kill any enemies in the vicinity.

Bombing Run

In-game Notes: A manually targeted aerial bombing run.

Streak Cost: 725

Personal opinion: Functions like the Stealth Bomber from previous MW games. A plane crosses the map in a straight line and deploys tons of bombs in that crossing line. Devastating and instant kill for those within the line.

XS1 Goliath

In-game Notes: A manually piloted suit of advanced armor with heavy weapons.

Streak Cost: 775

Personal opinion: These are the ASTs from the Campaign, sadly they are not as powerful in the campaign. You can shoot down an enemy using the Goliath pretty quickly so hide and take it out. It also carries a gatling gun so its extremely powerful, although its accuracy sucks.

Warbird

In-game Notes: A remotely piloted aerial attack vehicle.

Streak Cost: 850

Personal opinion: You get to pilot the Warbird and start shooting all the enemies that appear on the map. Pretty damaging and you can rack up a lot of kills with this one.

Paladin

In-game Notes: A manually controlled weapon system aboard an orbiting Paladin Gunship.

Streak Cost: 950

Personal opinion: Pretty much like the previous one, only that this time its further away. It has more time for you to kill enemies and kills faster. If you can get 1 more kill easily, this one is totally for you.
