Map of Chapter 25

Location Objective
Shirasagi: Reception Hall Defeat the boss
Enemies Present
Master Ninja
Swordmaster
Automaton
Master of Arms

Ryoma will not attack you until 25 turns have passed. However, he is trapped in the throne room and you get to be stuck with him too! The doors will only open when either Saizo or Kagero have been defeated. However, that is a long time, so take your time defeating one of Ryoma’s two retainers (preferably both). Now, if your Corrin is powerful enough you could just go take out Ryoma here and now, but that means less experience for the rest of your army. So let’s hop to it!

Being a split-up map, it is a good idea to send one team up the left side and another team up the right side. Both sides have roughly the same dangers, with plenty of Ninjas everywhere. Beware their Poison Strike ability. This isn’t the first time you’ve encountered it, so just a friendly reminder! It is worth noting that Kagero has a weapon that will kill armored units while Saizo has a Flame Shuriken.

The Ninja and Swordmaster units on the left side of the mapare lined up with the sole purpose of being able to attack the same unit all at once. That means that luring the enemy is out of the question; even your strongest units will be taken down as Poison Strike activates repeatedly. Instead, move several units, flanked by healers and archers (Adventurers!), close to the range of the enemy. Then charge them all at once.

From there, you can take it a bit easier; go up the right side luring in the Swordmaster and Automatons. Note that their bows can fire from a range of three, but if you put up high defense units as targets, their attacks will deal no damage. Just push forward from here and this side will be wrapped up easily, allowing you to gang up on Saizo and take him down.

The right side is quite a bit easier, as it isn’t set up nearly as deviously. You can move up and attack the ninja first to take them out, then follow that up with an attack on the melee units beyond him. Once you wipe them out, you can push upwards. Be careful of ranged attacks in the hallway. Once you take him out, you can break the walls in this hallway to open each room and take out the enemies inside (do one at a time to be safe). After that, just move upwards slowly, nabbing the chest and taking out Kagero. Gang up on her with units with high Speed, or else your accuracy will be too low to be reliable.

Once you have taken both sides out, you can access the room with Ryoma in it. Use the Dragon Vein to the north if you need to and take him out. You can use other units to help you hit Ryoma (pairing up with someone is recommended) and then you’ll be greeted with a fun bit of in-battle dialogue to make you feel bad. The battle ends when he is finally defeated. His sword, Rajinto , can attack from range.
