Odin Dark Mage Automatically on Turn 2

The villages will provide reinforcements for the enemy if they manage to visit them before you can. That’s no good. But if we can visit at least three out of the five villages shown, we’ll get ourselves an awesome after-battle reward. So try to focus on that! Go up to a village with a flashing yellow tile in front of it, then use the Visit command to stop by and say hi.

No matter how fast you are, the Lancer up north will claim the village to the right on the first turn, and as a result, you will have to fight several new enemies. In return, make sure you visit the village closest to you as soon as you can.

On the second turn, you will gain two allies from the forest to the south: Leo’s personal retainers! Wonder where Leo is? Odin is a Dark Mage and may or may not remind you of a certain someone, and Niles is a rather creepy but loyal Outlaw. He uses Bows , so make sure you attack from afar and be careful or else Niles could get surrounded by the enemies and defeated.

Silas will be of immense help to you here, being able to traverse large distances to visit the villages as rapidly as possible. Be sure to send backup with him so that he doesn’t get surrounded and isolated. As you split up your units to tackle the enemies trying to rush you, send Jakob and Elise out their separate ways to support each group.

Dragon Vein to melt the lake once.

If you find yourself in a pinch getting rushed by enemy units, you can use the Avatar or Elise to activate the Dragon Vein near your starting point. This will melt the lake for one whole turn, immobilizing all units in the lake and preventing anyone from traversing it! The lake will quickly refreeze at the start of your next turn, though.

There is one maid amidst the swath of enemies: Flora . She will be healing up the enemy, or using Freeze on you, which will cause your movement to drop to zero for one turn. Be sure to keep a healer close by whoever gets frozen in place in case they get rushed.

By the time you’ve gotten to the third village, the enemy will have secured their second village, so make sure you’re prepared to deal with those reinforcements when they arrive.

Kilma is the boss, and he is a Sorcerer! So he’s a lot more powerful than the rest of your gang. Don’t engage him until you have all of your units close by so that you can rush him with everyone and defeat him in one turn, preventing him from getting his own enemy phase so he can attack you. His Nosferatu can heal him for half the damage he takes, which is even more reason to defeat him in your phase. Keep Elise and Jakob/Felicia on hand to heal.

If you visited three villages, then you will receive 10,000 gold , which is great!

Messing Around with MyCastle: Part II

You might run into Invaders in the Overworld menu of Conquest ! This is basically a battle that takes place within your MyCastle. Should they seize the throne of MyCastle, you will lose!

If the invaders destroy any of your buildings (called Effigys in the battle), so long as you can drive them out, they’ll come right back. No need to use more DVP to build them again. This is a great way to get some support conversations going and gain some precious, precious exp.
