About me: In 2006 I co-founded "PlayStation Universe" (a.k.a PSU.com) which is a site dedicated to providing news, rumours and community forums for the PlayStation 3 console (the successor to the best selling video games console of all time - the Sony PS2). PSU.com quickly grew to become one of the largest independent PlayStation news and community sites with over 1 million monthly unique visitors and 250,000 registered members.  

 
In late 2007, I co-founded "Playfire.com" - a Social Network for Gamers - which tracks your gameplay stats across a variety of networks (Xbox Live, PSN, Steam etc) and enables you to form friendships with other gamers and more. About me:
 
I Founded Samus.co.uk in 2003, which went on to become one of the largest unofficial Metroid websites and communities on the web (all thanks to my love for the sublime Metroid Prime and it's fantastic 'Sequence Breaking' and 'Secret Worlds'). 
 
With the release of the less than favourable Metroid Prime 2, I decided that with variety being the spice of life, I started writing/producing strategy guides for various UK gaming magazines/websites (including GamesMaster, Xbox World 360, GamesRadar, NGamer and First Play). If you pic up the likes of GamesMaster or Xbox World 360 today (if you're in the UK or Europe), you'll still find my words of gaming wisdom gracing those hallowed pages.
 
Finally, I've also coded and produced video game guides for the Apple App Store/iOS devices (namely Splinter Cell Conviction, God of War 3 and Angry Birds: Halloween /shameless plug). It was this work that led me to producing guides for GamerGuides.com, where I'm now focusing my energy and time. I'd also like to thank my wife for her amazing amount of patience and understanding and for not using her extensive proffesional medical training to render me a useless vegetable whilst I spend my time writing these guides (it's an act of kindness that hasn't gone un-noticed)!

About me: Steven is so old he can remember playing 3D Monster Maze on the ZX Spectrum and spending many months trying to beat the final level of Commando on Commodore 64. He never did.
 
Such is his passion for videogames, he almost lost his girlfriend of 10 years after spending more time than is healthy locked away in a darkened room playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. “You need to make a choice,” she said one night. “It’s me or that bloody computer?” Steven made that choice, and eventually she came to her senses. They’re now married, she now loves gaming too, and the rest is history.
 
Steven was very worried about what the release of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim might do to his relationship, so he has encouraged his wife to play Elder Scrolls IV. She loves it, so life in 2011 and beyond is looking very good indeed.
