Shield-Weaver Outfit

You’re approaching the end and you’re going to need all of the help you can get. You should now have gotten all five Power Cells from the various bunkers and ruins in the game, meaning you can get the most powerful armor. If not, then you’ll have to do a lot of backtracking to get them all. Fast travel to the campfire northwest of the Nora Hunting Grounds, then find the entrance to The Bunker and dive in. Once inside, find the breakers on the right side of the main chamber and insert two of the cells. It’s time for a little puzzle.

Examine the Code Nexus next to the switches to have a bunch of numbers pop up (1200, 1500, 1800, 2100 and 0000 from top to bottom, in that order). If you haven’t figured it out, these are military times and will help you figure out the order of the switches. 1200 is noon, while 1500 is 3 o’clock; using those clues, you figure out the order is Up, Right, Down, Left and Up . This will open up the door next to you, where you’ll find the armor. Unfortunately, it’s locked in place and you need to solve one more puzzle to finally get it.

In the room beyond, place the final three power cells and examine the Code Nexus for your clue. These numbers pertain to segments of a circle, specifically angles. Yep, who knew basic geometry would be needed in a video game. Anyway, the solution for this puzzle, if you are having trouble, is Right, Left, Up, Right and Left . This unlocks the clamps and you can retrieve the Shield-Weaver Outfit, the most powerful armor in the game. Basically, the armor will absorb damage to a certain point, after which, it will need to recharge before you are “invincible” again. Grabbing the armor also finishes the Ancient Armory sidequest.

Solve the two puzzles in The Bunker (left) to access the Shield-Weaver Outfit (right).

Impending War

That should be about all of the preparations you need for the upcoming fight. Note that a point of no return is approaching and while it’s not missable, the All Allies trophy acquisition point is also coming up. You only need to finish specific ones in order to get the trophy, which can be found in the trophy guide. Fast travel to Meridian and get to the Palace of the Sun to speak with Avad, then with Marad after that. You now have the option to visit the Ridge and Spire, where you will find the people you have helped throughout the sidequests.

Both of these things are completely optional, though, and you just need to go to Olin’s house to rest for the final battle to continue the story. The Spire is at the end of a winding path that leads to the top of a large rock formation, while the Ridge is right outside Meridian Village. When you’ve checked both spots (talk to the important NPCs), go back to Meridian and rest at Olin’s place to finish this quest and start the final one.

Objective Reward
For warning Meridian of the impending attack 17,000 XP / +1 Skill Points
