Royal Ludroth are Leviathans introduced in Monster Hunter Tri . Unlike Ludroth, Royal Ludroth are males who have matured and rule over the Ludroth. They are easily picked out by their larger size and impressive, spongey mane, hence “Royal”. Royal Ludroth aren’t really all that difficult to pick a fight with, as they are one of the smallest, least imposing of the Leviathans.

Royal Ludroth is weakest to fire and thunder.

Attack Explanation
Claw Swipe Royal Ludroth will swipe at you pitifully using one of its front claws. Easy to see coming and avoid.
Body Whip Royal Ludroth will coil up, and then rapidly uncoil itself to whip its tail at you.
Water Spit Royal Ludroth will spit out a glob of water. Sometimes it will do this three times in different directions.
Drive-by Water Spit Royal Ludroth will charge in a mad stampede, all the while spitting out blue globs of water. When enraged, it will flip over and charge again, and will do this up to three times before stopping.
Barrel Roll Royal Ludroth will barrel roll at you. When in rage mode, this attack becomes much quicker, with little to no wind up.
Tail Flick Royal Ludroth will look back at you, and then flick its tail to the left and right.
Leaping Charge Royal Ludroth will pounce at you from afar to belly flop you into submission!
