Monster Hunter Generations

1-star Other Quests

By
Vincent Lau

There’s only three non-key quests in the 1-star tier, but why not hang around a bit to complete them? Don’t you want your fancy check mark?

Due for Dragon Amber

Objective: Deliver 3 Dragon Amber Pieces

Location: J. Frontier

Subquest: Deliver 2 Fossilized Bones

Notes: Dragon Amber Pieces can be found by mining. You’ll get some precious ores in the process too!

Medicinal Moths

Objective: Deliver 3 Immortal Moths

Location: J. Frontier

Subquest: Slay 3 Bnahabra

Notes: Immortal Moths can be caught from any other flying bugs you see around the map using the Bug Net. The blue box will provide you with some Old Bug Nets, but they will break very easily. Buy a few regular Bug Nets and later on create some Mega Bug Nets with Ivy + Monster Bone M so that you have the more durable stuff.

Horns o Plenty

Objective: Deliver 3 Kelbi Horns

Location: J. Frontier

Subquest: Deliver a White Liver

Notes: Kelbi are the green and blue deer. Green Kelbi are male, and blue Kelbi are female, but you can get Kelbi Horns out of both of them. When you attack then, they won’t die; rather, they fall stunned. Carve them once, then they will get up and run off (and fade in the process, so you can’t just spam-stun them repeatedly and torture the poor animals). White Livers can evidently be carved without harming Kelbi at all, so if you get one of those while getting horns, feel free to deliver it too.
