Optional Bosses

Warp to the crucible in the Meadow of Triumph and head directly south:

Boss: Behemoth

HP Category Weakness Resistance
15,620 Beast None Neutral, Earth, Water, Wind
Drops: **Anomalous Orb**

The Behemoth has no weaknesses except for his Beast category, so you’ll want to stick to using Sorey’s WolfWind Fang martial arte or Lion’s Howl hidden arte when attacking in human form.

In addition, his resistance to all elements except fire means that having Lailah in the group will add some extra damage to the party and if you choose to armatize with her you can spam her Rain of Fire skill to exploit the beast category as well.

Use the above skills to keep the Power Hit combo going or starting a new one so that your other party members can also contribute to the damage and avoid standing directly in front of the Behemoth, since his attacks primarily involve ramming his head into you.

Use martial artes to exploit the Behemoth’s weakness or armatize with Lailah to ignore his elemental resistances.

Warp to the West Gorge save in Pearloats Pasture and head east toward the Hyland Steer:

Boss: Dangeroma

HP Category Weakness Resistance
14,540 Beast Fire Neutral, Earth, Water
Drops: **Anomalous Orb**

This boss comes with five Power Links that you’ll want to focus on taking out first with Crown of Fire, by armatizing with Lailah, and then you can shift focus to the boss. The Dangeroma has a fire weakness that you can exploit by staying armatized with Lailah, so lay into the enemy with quick attacks and spells to do massive damage that will quickly end this fight.

Armatize with Lailah to wuickly take out the Power Links with Crown of Fire.

Warp to the crucible in Biroclef Ridge:

Boss: Millionpede

HP Category Weakness Resistance
18,641 Crustacean Wind Neutral, Fire, Water
Drops: **Anomalous Orb**

The Millionpede is similar to its smaller brethren, squirming in and out of range of your attacks while spitting acidic liquid. Armatize with Dezel to exploit the boss’ weakness and chain together your attacks to keep him staggered.

When the Millionpede reaches about half HP it will start to use Millionaire, in which he’ll curl into a fire ball and bounce around the arena. This is a deadly attack that is hard to avoid, so make sure to guard until the attack finishes before continuing your attack.

Armatize with Dezel to exploit the boss’ weakness and quickly finish the fight.

Warp to the Luminous Lake in Cambria Caverns and head north:

Boss: Nine-headed Serpent

HP Category Weakness Resistance
19,732 Fiend/Apodous None Neutral, Earth, Water
Drops: **Anomalous Orb**

The serpent has no elemental weaknesses, but you can still focus on its category by using Sorey’s Freezing Strike and Starfall martial artes while the rest of your party piggybacks with Power Hits.

Attacks are primarily done by the serpents nine snake-like legs, slashing and spinning to do damage, while she causes status ailments like Attack/Armor down with the dangerous Mindflayer spells. Keep the attacks on to avoid the serpent’s Beckoning… attack, which will likely kill an armatized character.

If you are still having difficulty you can armatize with Lailah and use her martial artes and Crown of Fire seraphic arte that juggle the boss in the air.

If you are having trouble defeating the boss with Sorey’s martial artes you can always armatize with Lailah and juggle it with Crown of Fire.
