The Elders Son

As you enter the Goron Shrine you should hear a horrible cry echoing throughout. The Goron Shop at the bottom here has some overpriced items if you need them.

Your goal is to reach the top and speak with the crying Goron in the throne room as a Goron. Here you’ll learn he is the Elder’s son and misses his father.

Freeing the Elder

If the size of the snowball wasn’t a big enough clue, you can also target it.

Leave Goron Village to the area between here and Mountain Village. At the northeast end you’ll find a gigantic snowball, break it to reveal the frozen Elder. Now go into the nearby Hot Spring and gather Hot Water and pour it on the Elder to free him.

Goron Lullaby

The Elder only remembers the Lullaby Intro, but if you return to his son in the Goron Shrine and play it you’ll learn the full song and put the child to sleep… and all the other Gorons too!
