After learning this song, you can enter the Woodfall Temple at any time.

Return to the Deku Palace and ride the leaf up to a platform then put on the Deku Mask. Use the Deku Flowers to cross this area, avoiding the Mad Scrubs as you go. Some of them are in spots where it’s best to drop a Deku Nut on their heads and relaunch from that spot.

At the end of the path you’ll meet the monkey, he explains he didn’t kidnap the princess at all. At this time pull out your Ocarina in Deku Form to learn the Sonata of Awakening . Trying to learn this song in Human Form doesn’t work.

Woodfall Entrance¶

Take the Deku Shortcut off to the east of the entrance of Deku Palace. Here you can use the Deku Flowers to move from flower to flower, just watch out for the Dragonflies . Fly across the waterfall and into Woodfall.

Woodfall¶

Head off to your right and up the ramp. You’ll need to defeat two Hiploops to continue, best done with a Bubble Blast. Fly across and defeat the Mad Scrubs then head to the middle platform.

Use the Owl Statue here with then put on the Deku Mask and stand on the ensign, now play the Sonata of Awakening . Woodfall Temple will appear from out of the swamp now!

The chest behind you has a Blue Rupee if you want to get it, otherwise head over and into the temple.
