There are 7 Native Pillars hidden around the game world in both the North Atlantic and River Valley. Upon discovering each of them, we can interact with a dais nearby to undertake a short, shape aligning puzzle mini-game. In this we need to twist the various segments of the pillar so that a source of energy depicted by an illuminated pathway flows in a direct line from the top of the pillar to the bottom.

Successfully solving one of these pillar puzzles will reveal a treasure location beneath it when completed. Each of these locations houses a native totem that we can acquire.

Pillars appear as a totem icon on the map (left). Interact with them and rotate the segments so that there is a direct line between the arrows at the top and bottom to solve them (right).

Once we have found and collected all 7 native totems, we can travel to the native village in Orenda, River Valley where there is a locked door (this is shown to you during campaign sequence 4-02 ‘Armor and Sword’). This becomes accessible once all of the stones have been gathered. Upon opening the door we will earn some rewards.

  • For solving all 7 Native Pillar puzzles, we’ll earn the achievement/trophy ‘King of the Hill’.
  • For opening the door we’ll unlock the achievement/trophy ‘Ancient Hero’.
  • Opening the door will also grant us the Native Armour.
