Trophy Guide

Trophies/Achievements

Ultimate Vault Hunter

You’ll be able to acquire the Borderlands 3 Platinum Trophy/Achievement once you’ve unlocked every other Trophy/Achievement in the game.

Level Based Trophies/Achievements

Trophy/AchievementDescription
You Got SkillsUnlocked once you've reached level 2.
Star BoundUnlocked once you've reached level 10.
Vaulting Your Way To The TopUnlocked once you've reached level 25.
Biggest Badass In The BorderlandsUnlocked once you've reached level 50.

Level 50 is the higest level you’re able to gain within Borderlands 3 on the normal difficulty, but once you’ve reached that point you’ll be able to gain Guardian Rank points which allow you upgrade certain stats for you character.

Levels come naturally as you play through the Borderlands 3 story alongside completing Side Missions but if you’ve completed the game and you find yourself not anywhere near level 50 yet, you can hop in and complete the Eridian Proving Grounds / Circles of Slaughters as they reward you with plenty of XP and Cash.

Side Mission Based Trophies/Achievements

These Trophies/Achievements will unlock as you complete the Side Missions throughout Borderlands 3, refer to the Side Missions Section of the guide for an indepth walkthrough on each of the Side Missions. It’s worth noting that the Rare Spawn Side Missions do not count towards this Trophy/Achievement.

Combat Based Trophies/Achievements

You’ll unlock these Trophies/Achievements naturally by just playing through the game as you’ll be constantly trying out different weapons and finding new ways to take down enemies.

Bolt-Ons

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve obtained 10 heads or skins for your character. You’ll be able to gain 10 heads or skins easily by just playing through the game, as you’ll be able to obtain them from Moxxi’s Slot Machine back at Sanctuary or you could purchase from Earl with Eridium, and you can get them from enemy drops.

Mechani-Cool

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve obtained 10 Vehicle Parts via hijacking. You’ll be able to get this Trophy/Achievement from completing the Hijack Vehicle challenges for the different areas or by just stealing an enemies vehicle and delivering it to a Catch-a-Ride.

Refer to the Full Area Coverage section of the guide to find out the different locations for the Hijack Vehicles in Borderlands 3.

Tips Appreciated

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve played through the story a little and you’ve arrvied at Sanctuary, once you’re there head over to the bar and give Moxxi either a small or large donation for the trophy.

Stay Away From The Light

You’ll be able to unlock this Trophy/Achievement by simply reviving a teammate whilst playing co-op within Borderlands 3.

Gun Pals!

You’ll be able to unlock this Trophy/Achievement by giving any item within Borderlands 3 to a friend through using the mail system. To find this menu, simply press start and head over to the Social Section and then press either R1/RB three times to reach it.

Dropping Loads

You’ll be able to unlock this Trophy/Achievement by using the slot machine within Borderlands 3 until you get unfourtunate and win a live grenade. You’ll want to get out of the way though as those grenades can hurt.

Good Against Remotes Is One Thing

This Trophy/Achievement requires you to complete a Firing Range challenge which you can find by heading over to the duck icon in Sanctuary. Once you’ve arrvied, take a look to your left where you’ll find a console with a button, press it to intiate normal mode which requires you to hit 15 Targets within 20 Seconds.

This Trophy/Achievement is a little tricky Solo, so it’ll be a good idea for you to wait until near the end of the game where you’ll have some powerful weapons with a quick fire rate that will allow you to take out the targets quickly.

If you’re having too much trouble with this Firing Range solo, it might be a good idea to grab a couple of friends to help you out as they can stand in the firing range and take out any targets you may miss.

My Name Is Earl

This Trophy/Achievement may take some time to get as you’ll need to save up some Eridium to purchase 20 items from Earl which is located in the Cargo Hold onboard Sanctuary.

There are several methods to gain Eridium. Enemies have a chance to drop you some, and later on in the game you’ll gain an ability to break Eridium Rocks that will give you alot.

Tales From The Eridian Slab

You will need to wait until pretty late in the game to do this Trophy/Achievement, as eventually you’ll gain an ability to interact with Eridian Slabs that give relay lore on the world of Borderlands.

Once you’ve gotten this ability, refer to the Full Area Coverage section of the guide to find out all the locations of the Eridian Slabs in the game.

Slaughterhouse 3

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve completed all three Circles of Slaughters within Borderlands 3, Cistern of Slaughter, The Slaughter Shaft, and finally The Slaughterstar 3000. This endgame activity requires you to face off against a few waves of different enemies over a period of five rounds.

Refer to the Circle of Slaughter section of the guide to find out how to complete these challenges.

100 Proof

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve completed all six Eridian Proving Grounds within Borderlands 3, this includes the Trial of Discipline, Instinct, Fervor, Survival, Cunning, and finally Supremacy. These Proving Grounds include you going to different variations of previous zones within Borderlands 3, where you’ll have to take out different types of enemies across two to three areas until you’re greeted by a boss at the end.

Refer to the Endgame section of the guide to find out how to complete these challenges.

Got Big Game

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve successfully completed all of Hammerlock’s Legendary Hunts. You’ll be able to locate these by refering to the Full Area Coverage section of the guide.

Zer0ed In

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve successfully taken out all of Zer0’s Targets of Opportunity within Borderlands 3. Refer to the Full Area Coverage section of the guide to find out their locations.

On Fleek

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve fully equipped you character with purple items or above, however you wont be able to do this until late in the story when you’ve finally unlocked all of the equipment slots.

Rewards Card

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve earned a loyalty package from each weapon manufacturer, in order to this you’ll need to get 100 kills with each gun. Refer to the Equipment section of the guide to find out the different manufacturers there are and what guns you’re able to use.

Florida Man

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock for you once you’ve managed to down yourself with your own Grenade, if you’re having a bit of trouble with this you can try shooting an explosive barrel to down yourself instead.

Stay Golden

This Trophy/Achievement will unlock once you’ve used a Golden Key to open the Golden Chest in Sanctuary. In order to gain a Golden Key you’ll need to press start and head over to Social and create an account for Shift before then inputting a code found from the likes of Twitter.
