Mission Details
**Available:** Complete Science and Violence **Location:** Jack’s Office; Jack **Level:** 19 **Rewards:** 7054 XP, 348 dollars, Choice between Laser and Grenade

It seems that there’s a computer problem in the R&D department and Jack wants you to check it out. When you head there and get to the waypoint, you find two Claptrap units arguing over something, which is the problem. Jack mentions that the two will argue forever, so he sends you off to find a restraining bolt.

When you get to the waypoint, interact with the console and then pick up the restraining bolt. Head back to the Claptraps and it’s time to make a choice, which directly affects your reward. If you choose the left one (CLAP-9000), you’ll receive a laser weapon, while choosing to disable DAN-TRP will get your a grenade. Talk to the other Claptrap to receive your reward.

You have a choice of who to deactivate here, with the left one getting you a laser from the other, and deactivating the right one will get you a grenade from the other.
