Chapter 8: World of Echoes [0]

Chapter 8: World of Echoes [0]

Sub-Scenario: K. and P. Merchantry

Step foot into Ancheim and wise King Khamer VIII will gather his elite soldiers at the royal palace, to inform them of orders to rendezvous at Eternia. While the majority have no qualms, Profiteur has zero interest, especially if he has to abandon his fortunes. But at this crucial moment, Agnes and company accidentally stumble upon their gathering…

Boss: Khamer, Khint, Profiteur and The Jackal

Level HP Weak to
70 65,000 (Khamer) 80,000 (Khint) 70,000 (Profiteur) 75,000 (The Jackal) Nothing

You’ve fought these guys together before, but not all four together! You’ll likely want to focus on removing Khamer first as he’s a royal pain with Quara and Stop --though less with Abate Earth and Stop Immunity. His bodyguard Khint has stepped up his game, now Braving twice instead of once.

Profiteur and The Jackal, though, follow their usual game plan; the Merchant will Default, then drop two lots of Takeover for fixed damage, while The Jackal occasionally Braves once. Besides Khamer, all the enemies here use physical attacks, so Rampart and Utsusemi are good for keeping your casualties to a minimum.

If you want, have a Ninja use Kairai on a Knight with Dual Shields so they take the brunt of the attacks; then the rest of your team can safely lay down the punches. To survive Profiteur’s Takeover, your Knight will need a lot of HP (the Vampire’s Absorb Physical Damage helps); also when Khamer is around, you’ll want to protect your Knight with the Spiritmaster’s Adaptation.
