Core Game modes

Moshpit

This game mode was added in the lastest update (December 4th, 2014) and its a compilation of game modes and maps that are most players favorite. Here’s a list of the game modes and maps:

Game Modes Maps
Kill Confirmed Bio Lab
Team Deathmatch Comeback
Hardpoint Detroit
Unlink Retreat
Riot
Solar

Team Deathmatch

Main game mode in Advanced Warfare. You kill enemy soldiers to score. The first team to reach 7500 points win (each kill is 100 points/XP).

Domination

There are 3 designated positions across the map and you have to capture them. The more positions your team has captured the more points you get. The first team to reach xxx win.

Kill Confirmed

Similar to Team Deathmatch, only that here the kill is not what counts. When someone dies he/she drops a dog tag. Each enemy dog tag (red) you collect is a point while grabbing one of your own team (blue) negates a point to them. The first to get 65 points win.

Uplink

New to Advanced Warfare. You are playing pretty much basketball. You’re carrying a Satellite Drone and have to score it in the enemy’s goal to get points. You get 1 point by throwing it in and 2 points by jumping in the goal with the Drone. The team with the higher score at the end wins.

Momentum

New to Advanced Warfare. 5 flags appear throughout the map, one by one and your team has to capture them all. First team to capture all 5 score a point. The team with most points at the end of the timer wins.

Hardpoint

King-of-the-hill type of game. Small areas appear for a short period of time and the characters inside score points. The more characters inside the more points scored. Hold the Zone!

Search and Destroy

You take turns attacking and defending a pair of targets. The attacking team has to plant a bomb on any of the targets while the defending team has to obviously defuse it. The catch is that once you’re kill, you don’t respawn. Its a one-life round so be extremely careful when playing this mode.

Search and Rescue

A combination of Search and Destroy and Kill Confirmed. Once killed you drop a dog tag. If an ally picks it up you respawn and have another chance.

Capture the Flag

Like in previous Call of Duty games, you run to enemy territory and grab their flag. Once in your possesion run over to your territory to score. The team with most flags captured win.

Free-for-all

The name says it all, every man on their own. The first person to reach 30 points wins.

Bonus Playlist

Infected

Every character starts in the same team and suddenly one of them gets infected. The person this infected one kills gets infected. Infect all characters to end the match.

Atlas Gorge

Mix of game modes played on Atlas Gorge. This is only available if you preordered the game.

Hardcore Playlist

We have the following game modes in this playlist:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Domination
  • Search and Destroy
The difference between these and the regular ones is that here you can shoot your allies. You have no HUD available and there’s extra damage so people will die faster.

Ranked Play

This is a moshpit of game modes. Only that you’ll only be playing with people of your own ranking, so that’s a really good thing if you’re struggling in other game modes.

Classic Playlist

We have the following game modes in this playlist:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Kill Confirmed
  • Domination
  • Search and Destroy
These play modes play the same, only that there’s no exo movement. Yes, no fancy dashing and those nice gimmicks. Classic Call of Duty right here.
