Kill Cascade is a challenge that is all about Drop Assassinations, which are just as they sound, assassinations you perform by jumping on top of an intended target and pressing the attack button just before landing on them. As you will soon find out, there’s three types of targets in Kill Cascade, which are color-coded and require different ways to get to them.
- Green - Just need to sprint
- Yellow - Need to sprint and double jump
- Red - Need to sprint, double jump and use Blink
Getting Three Stars
One might think that killing all of the targets in the mission will get you the three stars, but that’s not the case here. In fact, there is a popular path that only kills three people that will almost always get you three stars, no matter what, as well as the Long Way Down trophy/achievement at the same time.
When you begin, you’ll want to skip the first two enemies and go straight for the first yellow guy, which will require you to double jump and use Blink. From here, you’ll see another yellow light and a ledge above it. Jump and Blink to that ledge and look to your left to see a boat in mid-air, which is where you need to head to next. This needs a sprint, double jump and Blink.
Once you get on the boat, look for the red light, as that’s the next target. With this done, you should have around 8,000 points now and there’s only one target left, which is the very final one. If you’ve done the trophy/achievement for this challenge, then you know where to go next; otherwise, look off to the right to find some rocks and jump/Blink over to them.
After getting onto the rocks and going to the end of them, you should be able to see a broken building in front of you. Blink onto the building and climb to the top, stopping on the wooden planks portion and looking for the final red light. Sprint for the little bit you can, double jump and Blink, falling through all of the debris and assassinating the final target, finishing the challenge with three stars. This strategy works for both the normal and expert versions of the challenge.
