Characters

Assassin

A single target destroyer, demolishes mini bosses and stronger mobs but lacks in consistent damage, long cool downs heavy burst flank damage bonuses and crit type damage.

A knife from the shadows.

Argent was named the old Orlesian word for “quicksilver.” She is swift, strong, and deadly—trained from birth to be a weapon. Argent has served many masters, sometimes as a bodyguard, often as an assassin. Passed from noble to noble, she was bought and sold like a prized sword, a fact that does not bother her. A weapon has no loyalty—it serves whoever wields it. Now, the Inquisition wields Argent.

Unlock Order

Grab all your abilities first (in order of preference). Beeline straight for I was Never here, then Knife in the Shadows. Upgrade all abilities, then get the remaining passives in order of your choosing.

Strategy

The objective here is to flank enemies and remain hidden. With your ability combo you can be in stealth at all times, more or less. Stay ahead of your party and run behind enemy lines. Target archers and wraiths first because they will destroy your party on the higher difficulties if not taken care of fast.

Remember, DO NOT ATTACK FIRST. When you are behind a group, attacking first will allow all the archers to lock onto you. Even if you go into stealth, those archers will still have you locked and be able to shoot you out of this. Remember to let someone else take aggro first, unless there is only melee units around you.

You are primarily a supportive role, dealing massive damage when attacking from the side or the back. Your role is to thin out the enemies who are targeting your party, to make their lives easier.

My daggers each have 90 base damage and they each can 1 shot everything except bosses and guardians when using twin fangs behind from cloak on threatening difficulty. Hidden blades can also 1 shot most things. Flank attack is weaker, but it allows us to enter stealth when everything else is on cooldown.

Anybody wondering why we didn’t use shadow strike - it is bugged and does not allow you to utilize 'I was never here' when killing from cloak.

Recommended Abilities Description
Fallback Plan You place a thieves lantern to mark a fallback location before heading into battle. When the fight gets ugly, you leap back to safety, as healthy as you were when you placed your marker. Duration: 15 seconds, Cooldown time: 32 seconds, Cost 35 stamina.
Flank Attack You leap through the shadows to attack your foe with deadly strikes that hit them from behind. Number of hits: 2, Damage per hit: 200% weapon damage, Cooldown time: 8 secs, Cost 35 stamina.
Stealth You step into the shadows, all but invisible to your enemies. Attacking from stealth gives you a damage bonus and brings you back to the enemies attention. Dealing damage to enemies reduces the abilitys cooldown time. Damage bonus: 50%, Duration: 30 secs, Cooldown time: 24 secs, Cost 20 Stamina
Hidden Blades They'll swear you lept from the shaows like a thrown blade and hit your target with a flurry of strikes from every angle. But it's obvious that you were nowhere near them at the time. Number of hits: 3, Damage per hit: 300% weapon damage, Cooldown time: 32 secs, Cost 65 Stamina
