Side-Quests Walkthrough

The Gargoyles

Note: This quest becomes available as soon as you upgrade your Skill Accuracy to level 3 (first person view).

Once you have upgraded your Skill to have first person aiming mode, as you travel around Albion you will begin to hear a tinny voice hurling abuse at you every now and then. This is your clue to tip you off to one of the gargoyles being located nearby. To find it, follow the voice to its source and then shoot the gargoyle to destroy it. There are a total of 50 gargoyles hidden in the game.

One of the game's 50 gargoyles. Shoot each of them to destroy them.

There is also a secret Gargoyle cave in a dive spot in the water beneath the "very bridgey" bridge leading into Bowerstone Market. Inside there are a number of locked gates. For every 10 gargoyles you destroy, one of the five locked gates inside will open. In each of the rooms behind the gates you will find a treasure chest and a pressure plate.

When you have destroyed all 50 gargoyles and have stepped on the pressure plates in every room, the bridge will extend from the entrance to a platform on the very far end of the area. Here you will find a chest. Break the wall behind the chest here for the real treasure.

Prizes are distributed as such:

Gargoyles Reward
10 Dog Trick Book - Growl
20 Potion of Life
30 3 x Emerald
40 10,000 Gold
50 Augment: Ghoul, Rotten Apple, Legendary Weapon - The Rammer (Crossbow)
For all 50 locations, check out the collectible locations guide below.

Note: for completing this quest you will earn the following reward/s:

  • Various rewards as listed in the table above.
