Tips

The Challenges have increased slightly, but there’s a fair amount of redundancy or opportunities where you can complete two or more Challenges at the same time. For instance, you’re asked to make a Boiled Veg and a high-quality Boiled Veg; making a high-quality Boiled Veg satisfies both.

However you will start seeing more " High Level " recipes, as indicated in the top-right corner, below where it says "Apprentice Recipe". These recipes are a bit more demanding, requiring a higher Cooking stat and slightly more steps to complete.

You may wish to do the non High-Level recipes first to build up your Cooking skill, practice your cooking, and earn more money for a better frying pan. Three birds in one stone!

For your ingredients, you will need to move out of Castele now and towards Port Puerto . Most ingredients can be bought from the stalls in the Port Puerto Marina, or the granny in the kitchen of Cocina Rica , in the north east corner of the Palace Way.

Try cooking at Cocina Rica to spice up your cooking environment.

For Grassy Plains Barley , head for Farley’s Plantation, directly north of the West Grassy Plains when you enter from the East Grassy Plains. Pine Nuts , meanwhile, are sold in the wood and leather stall, in Castele and Port Puerto.

Puerto Breams can be fished from around Port Puerto or you can buy them from the fishmonger with the Port Shopping+ Bliss Bonus. Little Shells can be found on the beach or purchased from the Shady Shop in the pirates’ part of the Marina.
