Tips

Your first hunting ground is an easy one: the East Grassy Plains. There are plenty of defenceless White Woolies near the entrance for you to practice your attacks, especially your Piercing Arrow (hold the A button, then release after the chime).

Worker Bees can be found dotted around and there’s a group of three in an enclosed area north-east from the entrance. Sadly, bees don’t drop honey, but if you’re looking for honey you can grab Grassland Honey from a tree near the middle of the plains.

Honey restores SP, which is useful for prolonged dashing or sneaking.

Shaking the tree nets 2 to 4 jars of honey, so multiple visits are required to collect 10. If you’re impatient, sleeping or visiting two areas in succession will make the honey (and other resources) reappear.

Road Runners, meanwhile, are usually sunbathing by the pool near the north-east corner, towards Elderwood. They’re easy kills, but beware that the powerful Napdragon sometimes sleeps near them, so watch your target and don’t shoot mindlessly.

Finally, Red Wolves prowl around the entrance to Elderwood and the area east of it. If you hunt at night though, you’ll find a lot more of them in the open, along with their leader Coyotes.
