Tips

All of the Challenges can be done in the East Grassy Plains, so sharpen your blade and get ready for some dicing action.

Since you’re tasked with using the Spinning Attack (with your weapon drawn, hold the A button and then release after the chime), you may as well use it to defeat Caterpillos and Bandits to save time.

Caterpillos are found towards the west side of the East Grassy Plains, especially towards Haniwa Cave. They’re mostly harmless, so should be easy pickings.

Bandits and their Bandit Leader can be found just before the road to Mt. Snowpeak, to the right of the archway towards the Elderwoods or near the south-west corner.

Obviously, as their names suggest, Bandits are aggressive and will attack upon sight. Only the Bandit Leader should pose any problem, but you ought to be OK as long as you properly use your shield.

One Apple Tree can be found south from the Mt. Snowpeak entrance, while a second is located just before the entrance to the West Grassy Plains, across the bridge.
