|Defender of Light||Defeat 5 Darkmon in the Dark Void as a Paladin||500|
|Dragon King||Defeat 1 Shadow Dragon in the Dark Void as a Paladin||1500|
At this stage, you only have two new Challenges, but to reach the next rank, Legend, you must complete every single Paladin Challenge. So if there are any Challenges you’ve been putting off, it’s time to get them over and done with.
If, for reason, you’re missing Challenges in your list, simply cross-reference with our lists to see what you’re missing: remember you don’t need to receive a Challenge to complete it.
To find these new monsters, you need to visit the Dark Void, which opens after reaching Level 40 and completing the main story.
First, head to the Al Maajik Outskirts, then go south from the central Save crystal and take the ferry to Cacto Cove . Once there, head west, into the Cave of Shadows and the portal to the Dark Void is just beyond.
Note that the monsters inside the Dark Void are randomised, so if you can’t find the Darkmon or Shadow Dragon, simply leave and re-enter as many times as necessary.
All of the monsters in the Dark Void are the strongest you’ll find outside of the DLC, so steel yourself.
In particular, the Shadow Dragon will likely be the toughest foe you’ll have faced thus far. However, it is yet another Napdragon variant and uses identical moves, so nothing ought to surprise you.
So again watch out for its jaw chomp, tail swipe and dragon breath attacks. Most of the time, it’s safe to hug the Shadow Dragon, while circling to its left, and shielding if you deem necessary.
After a while, the Shadow Dragon may roar into the sky, producing noticeable sound waves. Soon afterwards, shadowy lightning will rain down, so get ready to defend yourself or run.
