Tips

After becoming a God Tailor, check your mailbox for a letter from Divinus containing recipes to craft equipment previously gotten as rewards.

Now that you’re a God Tailor, there’s only one challenge left that’s worthy of your epic needle-threading skills. Speak to Madam Purl in the Royal Castele Workshop and she’ll ask you to make a Plushy Cottage for Spoolie so he feels less home-sick.

Before getting on with the task, change to a combat-based Life and enlist the help of two capable allies. As you’re probably accustomed to now, sometimes a fair bit of fighting is required to get some of the materials you want–and this time is no exception.

Most of the material needed are found on Levitania, so warp to the Levitania Holiday Home if you bought it or head to the east side of the Port Puerto Marina to borrow Larkin’s airship. Then head for the south-most part of East Levitania, where the Chimera usually lurks.

Around here, you’ll find a few Cloudy Spirits led by a mischievous Cottonne, which you must slay for its Pastel Cotton . As usual, patiently dispose of the Cloudy Spirits first, so you can focus your efforts on the head honcho without them picking away at your HP.

The Cottonne itself is basically an oversized spook. To begin with, it may slap to damage anyone silly enough to stand in front of it. Next, it may pull back its body slightly, before shooting a cloud blast forward.

On occasions, the Cottonee may charge up power, then quickly unleash a shockwave ahead. Finally, to surprise you, it may vanish and then quickly re-emerge for a surprise assault. Honestly, there’s not much you can do to counter these attacks, besides moving or healing.

If you're after Gold Lunares Coins, this is a good quest to keep repeating.

Having slain the Cottonne, look around the floor of the arena for flowers that you can gather from to obtain Flower Buttons --you need two, but you can find three. Finally, if you ran out of Starry Thread , you can purchase these from the salesplush atop Cacto Cove.

With all the pieces in place, you’re free to make the Plushy Cottage in your own time. If you’re good, you make it in 30 seconds or less, by taking advantage of your outrageous God Skill, which instantly completes the crafting process when triggered.

If you need a hint, try to boost your Crafting Special Skill rate. We recommend a Vogue Needle crafted with an Ancient Stone+ (dropped by Giant Mimics in the Trial of Time) and a God Material (eg. Love Orb) to get Crafting S. Skill rate +35% on top of the natural +25%.

Then to further boost the rate, see if you can win Leilah’s Floral Circlet (rate +25%) from the Elderwood Village Goddess Statue and get yourself a Sun Ring (rate x2) from the Exchange Clerk who’s set up base in Pam’s House.

By completing the Special Request, you’ll also learn the recipe for a cute Plushling Plushlie . Getting the recipe is the easy part; getting the materials isn’t.

You can get Cloud Cashmere as a rare drop from the Cloudy Spirits, Pumpkin Buttons as a rare drop from the pumpkin monsters during the Magician’s Special Request and Magic Power Orb from the mighty Pumpking. All that just for a plushie…
