General Description: The Gunner is one of the small set of basic classes you’ll begin the game with and, as such, it’s not one you’ll be using for the majority of the game. While it does have its moments with abusing Cat Nip’s SOS ??? ability in conjunction with Trigger Happy, most of the abilities this job provides barely make it worth using in the long run. Not to mention how the Cat Nip abuse isn’t in FFX-2 HD (or International).

    • *General Stat Increases:* Strength, Agility, Accuracy
    • *General Stat Decreases:* Defense, Magic Defense, Magic, Evasion
  • **Abilities Learned:**
    • **Trigger Happy - Automatic - 0 MP Cost:** Multiple Attacks versus a single target based on how many times you can press R1 in the space of 1.8 seconds.
    • **Trigger Happy Lv. 2 - 80 AP - 0 MP Cost:** Increases the length of Trigger Happy to 2.2 seconds ( approx 22% longer).
      • **Trigger Happy Lv. 3 - 150 AP - 0 MP Cost:** Increases the length of Trigger Happy to 2.6 seconds ( approx 18% longer).
    • **Potshot - 20 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Physical damage to a single target; stronger than Attack.
      • **Cheap Shot - 30 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Physical damage to a single target; assumes their Defense is zero.
      • **Tableturner - 60 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Physical damage to a single target, which deals higher damage when their Defense is higher.
    • **Enchanted Ammo - 30 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Magical damage to a single target.
      • **Target MP - 30 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Damages the target's MP; the damage is unblockable and about 10%-20% of the normal HP damage.
        • **Quarter Pounder - 40 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Removes 25% of the target's current HP, up to 9,999 without Break Damage Limit and 99,999 with. This can be halved with Protect, however.
        • **On the Level - 40 AP - 12 MP Cost:** Deals damage to the target equal to 16 times the user's level, meaning damage ranges from 16 to 1,584.
    • **Burst Shot - 60 AP - 12 MP Cost:** Same as Attack, but a guaranteed critical hit.
      • **Scattershot - 80 AP - 8 MP Cost:** Physical damage to all enemies.
        • **Scatterburst - 120 AP - 36 MP Cost:** Physical daamge to all enemies, and a guaranteed critical hit at that.
    • **Darkproof - 30 AP - 0 MP Cost:** User is immune to Darkness.
      • **Sleepproof - 30 AP - 0 MP Cost:** User is immune to Sleep.
