Warrior

General Description: The Warrior class is probably one most FF vets are familiar with; it’s a class specializing in physical bulk and physical attacks. This job most closely emulates Auron, actually, if you played Final Fantasy X, the main highlight being the Power, Armor, Magic, and Mental Break skills to help lower many bosses’ stats, making things much easier. It’ll be the main physical class you’ll use for the first half of the game, and some other situations, though its general utility becomes replaced by the brute power of the Dark Knight. Even so, it’s ability to use a variety of helpful skills, including elemental-based attacks, make it worth leveling up.

    • *General Stat Decreases:* Magic, Magic Defense, Evasion, Luck
  • **Abilities Learned:**
    • **Sentinel - 20 AP - 0 MP Cost:** The user will receive only 1 point of damage from any **physical** attacker until their next turn. Magic attacks and healing are unaffected.
      • **Assault - 100 AP - 0 MP Cost:** The user's party will be under the effect of Berserk (which also applies Strength +1 level, which is +8.33%), but also Haste, Protect, and Shell. The Berserk is unblockable, so you essentially lose all control of the party, but gain power and bulk. Good for random battles.
      • **SOS Protect - 20 AP - 0 MP Cost:** The wielder, when under 1/3 HP, will gain an unremovable Protect on them until they rise above 1/3 HP, halving all physical damage they receive.
    • **Flametongue - 20 AP - 4 MP Cost:** A Fire-elemental Attack.
    • **Icebrand - 20 AP - 4 MP Cost:** An Ice-elemental Attack.
    • **Thunderblade - 20 AP - 4 MP Cost:** A Lightning-elemental Attack.
    • **Liquid Steel - 20 AP - 4 MP Cost:** A Water-elemental attack.
      • **Demi Sword - 60 AP - 4 MP Cost:** *(After learning all four of the previous skills only!)* Does gravity-based (i.e. fractional, in the realm of 1/4) damage to the target's current HP.
        • **Excalibur - 120 AP - 24 MP Cost:** A Holy-elemental Attack.
    • **Power Break - 0 AP - 4 MP Cost:** Lowers the Strength of the target by 1/6, which stacks additively up to five times for a total loss of 5/6. Also hits physically.
    • **Armor Break - 30 AP - 4 MP Cost:** Attacks the target and lowers their Defense by 1/6, which stacks additively up to five times for total loss of 5/6.
      • **Delay Attack - 100 AP - 10 MP Cost:** Attacks the target and Delays their next turn.
        • **Delay Buster - 120 AP - 16 MP Cost:** Attacks the target and severely Delays their next turn.
    • **Magic Break - 30 AP - 4 MP Cost:** Attacks the target and lowers their Magic by 1/6, which stacks additively up to five times for total losses of 5/6.
      • **Mental Break - 30 AP - 4 MP Cost:** Attacks the target and lowers their Magic Defense by 1/6, which stacks additively up to five times for a total loss of 5/6.
