Time runs short. Today is the day I put an end to that troublesome uridimmu! The problem, I fear, will be the pack of loyal gorgonopsids. The master alone is a worthy enough foe. Must I face the hounds as well? Alas…if it must be so, so be it.

Location

After completing Mission 01 - Pond Scum, a Cie’th Stone will arise from the ground. Interact with it to begin Mission 02. Once again, your target is shown as a pink star on your map, making it just as easy to track it down as the last one.

[Left] Uridimmu Enemy Intel. [Right] Preemptive strikes will make the battle much easier.

Strategy

Your second target, a Uridimmu, is accompanied by a few Gorgonopsids. If your party is at a fairly average stage of development around this time, you’ll most likely not be able to finish this battle within the allotted time. If you think you’re ready for the battle, however, jump right in. It can’t hurt to try.

The first Paradigm you should use is Delta Attack. Once your party begins to lose a good deal of health, switch over to Solidarity or Combat Clinic to heal up. From there on, you should really only be attacking using Lightning - leaving your other characters to guard and heal your party. Once only one or two Gorgonopsids remain, switch back to Delta Attack and end the battle with particular ease.
