Fire Emblem: Conquest is the more difficult of the two games, and is a classic return to form. Veterans of the “old-school” games before Awakening will definitely enjoy Conquest .

In comparison to Birthright , Conquest eliminates opportunities to grind for experience, resources, or gold (unless you purchase DLC). In exchange, you have a much more difficult experience and a general elevation in challenge. Maps are also generally more complex, packing more gimmicks and more sophisticated layouts, with objectives being far more interesting and unique than just “Route the enemy” or “Defeat the boss”.

If you are a tried-and-true veteran of the Fire Emblem series and want an experience that will challenge everything you have learned thus far, then Conquest is for you and you won’t regret it!
