Act 2 Gold Medals

Merryweather Heist (Off-shore Approach)

The less confrontational approach.

Show No Mercenary

- Eliminate all pursuing Merryweather enemies

As Franklin, you must gun down all choppers and boats that attack you. Most of them go down easy under the heavy fire from the gun but there are a few times you will need to be prepared to switch positions to attack the new threats.

Once you’ve cleared one side of enemies, switch to another. Do not forget to move to the back when the attack to the rear comes. Keep an eye on the radar for all the threats and eliminate enemies quickly.

Salvager

- Find the container within 02:00

Launch the Trackify app and head in the direction of the red blip. It works like a sonar though slightly more accurate. Adjust your position with the red blip all the while keeping your foot on the accelerator. If you’re on the ball, you should have no trouble with this challenge. Drive into the container to pick it up.

You have to kill all pursuers so keep an eye on the radar for positions (left). Accelerate as fast as you can while adjusting position to find the container (right).

Mission Time

- Complete within 14:30

If you got Michael the flying lessons, it makes the mission a lot less fiddly. You have to be precise when handling the Cargobob but otherwise, the time is not unreasonable.

Weathering The Storm

- Escape the pursuing Merryweather enemies in less than 04:00

Always take out any choppers that appear first and then focus on the boats. Aim to shoot the pilot and the chopper will soon go down. Switch sides when prompted on screen and keep that gun firing! If you gun all the enemies down quickly, there will be no more pursuers and you will have completed two objectives at once.
