Finding Piglet

Your objective in the 100 Acre Wood is to help Pooh find his friends. Start with Piglet who can be found on the backside of Pooh’s house. He’ll run around the bushes, just catch him in one of them. Piglet gives you the Confuse sleight and lets you leave.

Veggie Panic

In the next area you’ll find Rabbit if you try to head out the back. Be sure to smash the pots for a ton of Moogle Points. Talk to Rabbit to start a Mini Game where you’ll need to sort vegetables. You have to sort 30 vegetables and only make 6 mistakes. Press Square to sort cabbages to the left, Circle to sort pumpkins to the right, and Triangle when a large veggie comes. You’ll also get the option to use Triangle when Pooh stumbles into your path. Just keep in mind that you can run from side to side to avoid carrots and reach vegetables. If you score 30 or higher you’ll receive Cross-Slash+ .

Sora helps Rabbit sort cabbages and pumpkins (left) as Pooh decides to walk in your path (right).

Balloon Glider

In the next area choose to use the balloons. Your objective is to reach the top of the tree. Press Circle to float up and you can collect additional balloons along the way if you pop some, but you can’t have more than three at any given time. Don’t hit the bees or branches! You should try to get a maximum of 500 points. If you make it to the top Owl will give you Firaga Burst .

The ballons help you float to the top of the tree (left), but can be popped if you hit bees (right).

Tiggers Jump-a-Thon

In the next area you’ll find Tigger, but don’t talk to him quite yet. Instead, jump on the tree stumps and glide over to a Chest to find a Spellbinder . Talk to Tigger to start his Mini Game. Each stump is labeled for a different button, hit the buttons that Tigger jumps to. If you score 25 or higher you’ll receive Idyll Romp from Tigger. This game is basically “Simon Says” and you can pause and write down where Tigger jumps if you are having trouble.

Tigger jumps from stump to stump (left) and Sora needs to follow along (right).

Whirlwind Plunge

In the next area jump into the windy well to start the Mini Game. Your job is to collect prizes but you can only do so with Pooh. If he gets away from you, hit Triangle to bring him back. Use Square to roll past obstacles and reach the prizes faster. You can’t fail this Mini Game, so shoot for a high score. Roo meets you at the end and gives you a Mega-Ether .

Sora and Pooh freefall and collect prizes (left). Pooh gets seperated from Sora after they hit an obstacle (right).

Bumble-Rumble

Jump up from where you are and talk to Eeyore, then check the treehole in the background to start the final Mini Game. You are given several cards in a random deck to defeat 50 bees. Use Wind Cards to blow bees away, the Keyblade to smack them, and Honey cards to recover Pooh’s gauge. If the gauge reaches zero then the game is over. It’s really not that difficult, so destroy the bees and use the Wind card when it gets too hard to take them out. You’ll receive an Elixir if you complete the game.

Sora uses a Wind Card to blow the bees away (left). Honey Storm unleashes a number of honey pots at the bees (right).

Head across the log to the clearing and save your game. Pooh will hand over the Bambi summon card after you approach the log and finish the scene. You’ll be taken to the 10F Exit Hall where Vexen approaches.

BOSS - Vexen

Vexen is easy prey to Sonic Blade (left), but can strike back with his shield (right).

Vexen can be difficult because he uses high level cards and has a shield that will card break you. This comes in addition to his Freeze sleight that will freeze Sora and leave him open for a follow up attack. This is best broken with a 0 card, so you want to make sure you have a few. Often you’ll want to use sleights to counter Vexen or just use a high combination of cards to break his higher level cards. Midway through the fight, Vexen will incorporate the Ice Needles sleight which will force you to constantly run to avoid. In the end, Vexen can become fodder to a Sonic Blade deck.

After the battle Sora learns Freeze and receives the Twilight Town World Card. Next up is Twilight Town!
