Red 1200 1500 1 50 32 16
Gold 2400 3600 1 100 40 20

Design

A basic Hex Ring is a mechanical Nobody with a cone-shaped body. Its body is dark red with small vents on its front, reddish-brown highlights, and a spike in its base. It also has a yellow, spike-shaped light on the top of its body. There are two short "arms" on either side of its body, both of which are reddish-brown with red and yellow tips. The most prominent feature of the Nobody is the large, octagonal ring that attaches to the top of its body. This ring is predominantly red with a thin, black outer edge and short, orange, triangular spikes on each of its corners.

A "hex" is an evil spell or curse, while "ring" clearly refers to the structure and circular energy beam the Hex Ring fires. The Japanese name, mirage, is a type of optical illusion. This may reference the rings of light the Nobody fires, which can blend together in a way that fools the eyes.

Hunter

Type A 5000 5000 5 100 76 76
Type B 20000 20000 5 100 76 76
Type C 30000 30000 5 100 152 76
Type D 50000 50000 5 100 152 76

Design

A normal Hunter is a large, mechanical Heartless with a small, conical main body. Its head is bullet-shaped, navy blue with white highlights, and has glowing yellow eyes. Its body is longer, navy blue with zig-zagging, white lines decorating it, and sports the Heartless emblem on its upper half. A sky blue ring divides the two halves of its main body and all of the Heartless’s various weapons attach to it. The Hunter’s four main extensions are long, blue and navy blue arms with white highlights. Each of these arms ends in three conical spikes—two white, and one navy blue—and each sports a single, curved, blue blade. These arms are arranged around the Hunter’s head in an "X" shape.

The Hunter can transform into a more aerodynamic form by folding back its four main arms. While in this state, it moves with its main body leading, while its head point backward. The four other weapons are replaced with small, white spikes. Hunters are also occasionally accompanied by small bombs. These bombs are teardrop-shaped, blue, and lined by four white spikes. They sport a black ring around each of their midsections and a single glowing yellow eye on either side of their bodies.

The Hunter’s name refers to its deadly battle skill.

Hunter-X

Design

The Hunter-X is a large, mechanical Heartless with a small, conical main body with various types of weaponry attached to it. Its head is bullet-shaped, red with orange highlights, and has glowing yellow eyes. Its body is longer, dark red with zig-zagging, orange lines decorating it, and sports the Heartless emblem on its upper half. A red ring divides the two halves of its main body and all of the Heartless’s various weapons attach to it. The Hunter-X’s four main extensions are long, dark red and brown arms with orange highlights. Each of these arms ends in three conical spikes—two white, and one red—and each sports a single, curved, brown blade. These arms are arranged around the Hunter-X’s head in an "X" shape. Two conical weapons are attached to either of the Hunter’s sides. These weapons are dark red with jagged, orange bases and three small, red, conical spikes near their tips. A brick-red cannon with an orange tip is connected above the Heartless’s head, and a comparatively smaller rotating gun is placed below its head. This gun is dark red with a flat, red tip.

The Hunter-X can transform into a more aerodynamic form by folding back its four main arms. While in this state, it moves with its main body leading, while its head point backward. The four other weapons are replaced with small, orange spikes. Hunters are also occasionally accompanied by small bombs. These bombs are teardrop-shaped, dark red, and lined by four white spikes. They sport a black ring around each of their midsections and a single glowing yellow eye on either side of their bodies.

The Hunter-X’s name refers to its deadly battle skill. "X" may reference the orientation of its bladed arms around its body, which is in the shape of an X.

Strategy

The Hunter-X’s series of attacks start with firing a multitude of Power Shots and Lasers at the Gummi Ship, followed by waves of normal shots which rotate around the screen counter-clockwise. After that, it fires a series of Blast Shots that hit everywhere but the middle of the screen, followed by left-to right Blast Shots that start at the lower-left hand corner of the screen. Then it fires all shots at the same time, still avoiding the center of the screen. It then unleashes its most devastating attack, firing a + shaped Laser, then an X shaped one. This attack can destroy a Gummi Ship in one blow. This entire process repeats until the Hunter-X gets low on HP. Then it fires everything in its arsenal randomly in a desperate attempt to destroy the Gummi Ship. If some of its limbs and the Hunter-X Bombs are destroyed, some of its attacks (such as the Blast Shots) can be removed, and it makes defeating the Hunter-X much easier. It is recommended that the Gummi Ship should have Auto-Life and Auto-Regen abilities equipped.

When the Hunter-X is defeated, your reward is the last Original Blueprint, the Secret Model.

Knight Head

Basic 200 80 5 2 2 0
Red 800 1000 5 50 8 4
Gold 1600 1800 5 100 16 8

Design

A basic Knight Head is a small, mechanical Nobody. Its conical head is much larger than its body, and its face is white with a white cross resembling the top half of the Nobody insignia emblazoned on it. Its head is violet with pale gold highlights and a large, conical spike on its top. Its body is also violet and connects to the Nobody’s arms. Its elbows are sky blue and its arms are conical, violet spikes that bend at sharp right angles from its body.

The Knight Head’s name may reference the spike on its head, which is reminiscent of the crest on a knight’s helmet.

Mad Rider

Color Score HP Damage Charge Medal Orb HP Orb
Basic 200 90 1 2 2 0

Design

A Mad Rider has a white body with a short spike on its back end and three black vents on its front. The Nobody emblem is displayed on a red diamond on top of its main body. A blue rod and two white pieces with red highlights attach a black wheel to the rear of the Nobody’s body. Two similar rods that sprout from either side of the Mad Rider’s body attach to large, curved, red "arms" lined by spikes.

The Mad Rider’s name references the speed of which the ship races around the Highway tracks.

Mega Tank

The Mega Tank’s name references the size of the ship, "mega" means "very large" or "great". "Tank" and "Revolver" both refer to the Nobody Ship’s gun- ike appearance and explosive attacks.

Mini Cruiser

Color Score HP Damage Charge Medal Orb HP Orb
Basic 1600 600 1 4 16 6

Design

A Cruiser is an enormous, white battleship. It is a large, rectangular structure with each of its corners lined by a long, cylindrical tower. Each of these towers is topped by a conical spike. Either of the Cruiser’s sides is lined by a complex apparatus of four, relatively short, rectangular structures. Each of these structures has a thin, pyramidal spike on its top.

A Mini-Cruiser is a white, vaguely insectoid battleship. Its main body is comprised of four connected, rectangular towers, each with a tall pyramidal spike on top. There are two long cannons lining either side of the Mini-Cruiser that also resemble towers. These cannons both end in large cones. It has six spikes on its underside, three lining each of these side towers, that resemble legs.

The Cruiser’s name may refer to a number of real-world vehicles with the same name. The Mini-Cruiser’s name shares this meaning, and also refers to the Nobody’s comparatively smaller size.

It has two long "arms" on either of its sides, and one long, thick "tail" attached to its base. Its arms and tail are both colored in shades of violet and indigo, the spikes lining its body are grey, its body is silver, and the mushroom cap-like extensions have lavender tops. The Mystic Flyer’s face is rose-colored and is adorned with a white Nobody emblem. This Nobody is very similar in design to the Bomb Bell.

Ghost 200 100 10 2 1 2
Ghoul 200 100 10 2 1 2

Design

The Pirate Ship is a titanic, mechanical Heartless that resembles a dilapidated sailing ship. The hull of the ship appears to be made of dark brown wood with faded red additives and yellow highlights. It has two sails on its main mast, and two more, one toward the bow and another toward the stern. The sail closest to the bow of the ship has the Heartless emblem printed on it, and all four sails are tattered and discolored. The crow’s nest is silver, with yellow highlights, and a bent, yellow spike in its center. This spike is also present on the tips of the bow and stern masts. The bow is decorated by a large, yellow, angular spiral on either side, resembling eyes. It also has a large, silver "jaw" on its lower half, with black and white zig-zagging markings. There are three long, thin, silver engines on either side of the ship’s aft end.

The bowsprit of the ship is a silver, conical, spike-like ornament. The ship’s "mouth" covers and protects an enormous Skull. The Skull has a flat lower jaw, a spiked row of lower teeth with an overbite. Its eyes are beady, glowing yellow, and its sockets are pitch black. The Skull is lined with numerous hairline cracks.

The deck of the Pirate Ship is packed with a number of cannons. A single Mega Cannon rests in front of the main mast, and two Medium-Cannons are placed on the aft and bow of the deck. Both types of cannons are dark shades of silver and fire Cannon Balls that are themselves enemies. A Cannon Ball is a spherical, dark-colored creature with a jagged maw that is red on the inside. Its eyes are a glowing yellow. The sides of the ship’s rear are covered in numerous Mini- Cannons.

A large wheel is present on either side of the middle of the ship’s hull. Both wheels are colored in dark shades of black, silver, and grey, and both have silver shafts in their centers. Two more wheels, identical to the others save for their smaller size, are placed near the ship’s rear.

The Pirate Ship is also accompanied by two types of ghost-like Heartless. One, a Ghost, is a white creature with a large, jagged maw that is red on the inside. Its eyes are yellow and it has a short tail, two equally short arms, and two short, curled antennae. The other, a Ghoul, is nearly identical, but is black instead of white.

The Pirate Ship’s name clearly refers to its appearance, which is reminiscent of a stereotypical pirate or ghost ship.

Strategy

The Ghosts and Ghouls are respawning ghosts that attack by charging at the Gummi Ship, although they can be easily stopped with a few bullets. This Gummi Ship-type Heartless doesn’t drop many items, unlike all the other Gummi Ship-type Heartless.

Cannon Balls can be launched as projectiles by the ominous pirate ship during the Phantom Storm Mission. If this enemy is not destroyed in time, it will explode and damage the Gummi Ship. It is only launched by two large canons, from the area below the center mast. The Skull only reveals itself near the end of the mission, and often summons other ships to protect itself.
