Questing Eos

Task - What He Would Have Wanted

Head to the marked location in the Golden Wastes (left) to find a Field Comm Terminal (right) which will start this quest.

To start this quest, head to The Golden Wastes and look for an abandoned Initiative vehicle, which can be found north, northeast of the third monolith, northeast of the Forward Station here. Near this vehicle you’ll find a Field Comm Terminal with the message "Work Detail: Outpost Survey Beacons" on it. Read this message to start this quest which naturally has you running about in search of navpoints.

  • The first, closest one can be found northeast of the third monolith, east of Forward Station, and southeast of where you begin the quest.
  • The next one can be found further east, at the eastern end of The Golden Wastes (and your operational area on Eos, in fact).
  • A third beacon can be found in the hills south, southwest of Prodromos, but you'll have to take an indirect route to reach this beacon, as the roads are rather spotty.

Defeat whatever foes impede your progress - one beacon is near a Kett camp (left) while another is near some Scourge-plagued Remnant ruins (right).

  • For the next two beacons, head to The Shearpoint Forward Station, which is northwest of Prodromos. From here you'll need to drive east, northeast to find a beacon site east of a Mining Zone and another to the west, southwest, which is north of another Mining Zone. The eastern beacon is near a Kett camp (be sure to score some Lithium deposits north of the camp) while the western one is near some Remnant ruins (be wary of the Scourge Tendril nearby and keep an eye out for an Element Zero deposit).
Activate all five beacons to complete this quest and earn 270 XP, 29 AVP and +2% Eos viability.
