This walkthrough is intended to get you through the main mission that constitutes the Ground Zeroes’ campaign, grabbing all of the XOF patches as you go to unlock the bonus extra mission, completing the level’s optional objective to earn the mission-specific achievement/trophy and giving you a nice overview of Camp Omega so that you’ll be much better prepared on the next time around.
Whilst it is possible to earn an ‘S’ Rank on the Ground Zeroes mission using this method, you will need to be very quick, remain undetected and not kill anybody.
Note: Using this walkthrough, it is entirely possible to earn the S-Rank, however if you have trouble with obtaining the score required, there are some additional hints and tips as well as a video documenting an S-Rank run following the main walkthrough.
The following bonuses will be unlocked by completing the mission on the two difficulties, completing trials and earning scores:
- Complete the mission on Normal to unlock the Hard Difficulty.
- Complete the mission to unlock the Side-ops: Eliminate the Renegade Threat, Intel Operative Rescue, Classified Intel Acquisition and Destroy the Anti-Air Emplacements.
- Earn a C-Rank on the mission to unlock the Sz.-336 SMG at mission start.
- Earn a B-Rank on the mission to unlock the FB MR R-Launcher at mission start.
- Earn a A-Rank on the mission to unlock the M2000 Sniper-D at mission start.
- Earn a S-Rank on the mission to unlock the AM-69 AAS Rifle at mission start.
- Complete the mission on Normal to unlock the 'Fastest Marking of all Enemies' Trial.
- Complete the mission on Hard to unlock the 'Fastest Completion' & 'Fastest Cell-to-chopper Rescue Paz' Trial.
- Complete the 'Fastest Marking of all Enemies' Trial on normal to unlock remaining Normal difficulty trials.
- Complete the 'Fastest Completion' or 'Fastest Cell-to-chopper Rescue Paz' trial on Hard to unlock the remaining hard difficulty trials.
The following bonuses will be added to your score at the end of the level if you are able to meet the requirements as you move through the mission.
- 0 Combat Alerts = +5,250
- 0 Kills = +3,500
- 0 Retries = +5,250
- No Reflex = +5,250
- Prisoners Rescued = +21,000 (6 at +3,500 each)
- Escaped Prisoner Recovered = +3,500
