Great Maccao is a new Bird Wyvern introduced in this game. Maybe to replace Great Jaggi as the next cannon fodder? I mean, you do face off with it in the Training Quests… ahem. Great Maccao has no real gimmicks like Gendrome and Iodrome do, but unlike Velocidrome has a rather sophisticated fighting style involving its powerful kicks and its thick, sturdy tail, which it can balance on and even use as a spring! When bouncing on its tail, Great Maccao can cover quite a bit of distance, and in rage mode is extremely agile.

Great Maccao is weakest to Fire .

Attack Explanation
Forward Bite Great Maccao will snap at you. It does not perform this attack very often compared to others in its arsenal
Hipcheck Great Maccao will turn so that the side of its body faces you, then it will do a quick and violent lunge in that direction with the intent of sending you flying. If exhausting, Great Maccao will do the hipcheck and “overexert” itself, requiring time to recover
Tail Slam Great Maccao’s tail has a heavy weight on its end and it will jump around, slamming its tail onto the ground. It will do this twice, so beware!
Kick Great Maccao will lean back on its tail and kick at you
Flying Kick Instead of just kicking, Great Maccao will lean back on its tail and bounce a few times, then it will suddenly lunge forward, kicking the whole way. In rage mode, Great Maccao can easily cross a good portion of the map. Attack the Great Maccao while it bounces to cause it to fall over. If its tail is broken it will try to do this attack and promptly fall over.
