Monster Hunter Generations

Kecha Wacha

By
Vincent Lau

Kecha Wacha. Left: normal. Right: rage mode.

Areas Start Roam Rest
Ancestral Steppe 4 2, 8 9

Kecha Wacha is a Fanged Beast introduced in Monster Hunter 4 . It is reminiscient of a flying squirrel with a miniature elephant’s trunk, and has a mischeivous and cheerful nature. Seriously you’re probably going to feel mildly guilty for killing the thing.

When in rage mode, Kecha Wacha will use its enormous ears as a mask on its face. This prevents it from falling onto the ground from Flash Bombs and Sonic Bombs.

Kecha Wacha is weakest to fire and thunder.

Attack Explanation
Claw Swipe Kecha Wacha will use its long, sharp claws to swipe at you. Relatively harmless.
360 Claw Spin If dangling from the vines in Ancestral Steppe, Kecha Wacha will sometimes hold out its claws and spin in a circle.
Flying Claw Swipe Kecha Wacha will dive bomb from out of the sky and slash its claws through the air as it lands to try and maul you.
Ground Charge Kecha Wacha will sometimes run at you the old-fashioned way: on all fours.
Water Spit Kecha Wacha will spit out globs of water using its elephant nose. These will inflict Waterblight
360 Ground Pound Kecha Wacha will pound at the ground furiously with its claws as if throwing a temper tantrum. It will slowly do a full revolution as it does this to try and hit any hunter who dares to be too close.
Vine Swing Kecha Wacha, in specific areas of Ancestral Steppe, will dangle from vines with its claws and like a monkey will swing around them to move back and forth. This won’t damage you but is worth mentioning, and if you deal enough damage will cause it to fall onto the ground.
