Carbon Bolt Locations in One Piece Odyssey

Carbon Bolts are an important part of the end game and trophy collecting. This is because Carbon Bolts are required to construct bridges across the many maps in the game with Franky. You’ll do this to complete the Royal area of Dressrosa, along with building bridges towards the locked chests and other goodies scattered around the playable areas. Here’s a closer look at how to get Carbon Bolts in One Piece Odyssey.

In total, there are around five Carbon Bolt locations, which award around 12 Carbon Bolts. These locations are as follows:

Dressrosa City: Follow the Coliseum Path south. As you walk down, you will come across a side street to your right, head through it, then head north up that path to a chest beside a building.
New Royal Plateau - 1st Level - City Ruins: When you enter the zone from the south, make your way to the intact bridge just northwest from the camp. There is a chest on the left side of the crack against the pink building next to the bridge.
New Royal Plateau - 1st Level - Great Fissure: You need to cross the fissure in the center of the map. Make your way to the top of a destroyed pink building using Luffy, and climb the rubble. Look slightly southwest, then move over to another building top with an enemy guarding a chest.
New Royal Plateau - 2nd Level - Sewer: When you emerge to the 2nd New Royal Plateau level, look directly right to see a Chopper hole. This takes you to the Sewer. From there, follow the path, destroying the metal fence with Zoro. Turn right and follow the next path down, destroying another metal fence and opening another chest.
New Royal Plateau - 3rd Level - Spike Road: Now you need to visit the 3rd level of the Royal Plateau. Follow the spike road around as normal, jumping over the mud mound near the save point. Continue following it around and turn right down the path, rather than following the destroyed buildings to ascend the cliff. You will eventually come across a small parkour bit with a chest overlooking the drop down to where you were at the start of the road.

Where to use Carbon Bolts in One Piece Odyssey

In total, you’ll have acquired 12 Carbon Bolts in One Piece Odyssey. This will give you the six you need to make New Royal Plateau - 1st Level - Great Fissure bridges. You need to use at least three for the main story progression, with the other three used for an optional bridge leading east.

It will also leave six spare Carbon Bolts for the future, which you can use to repair the bridges in the Nanohana region and get those locked chests. You need five Carbon Bolts to make one bridge in the Great Sandy Desert, and one more in Desert Near Nanohana. It will leave you with one spare, just like in the good DIY kits you get!
