It Pays to Invest
Looking to EV train some Pokemon to bring out their true potential? It’ll be a slog unless you purchase those Power Items, which will give +8 flat to the EV of the stat they correspond to after defeating a Pokemon, and can be doubled through Pokerus.
The total will run you quite a bit of BP, 96 total to be exact, but in exchange you’ll be able to more efficiently EV train Pokemon who can then wipe the floor at both Battle Royale and Battle Tree.

Defy your Destiny!
If you’re feeling a bit dry in the throat thinking of the prospect of dumping 48 BP for the Destiny Knot, an absolute must for breeding the perfect Pokemon, think twice before you buy!
A high-leveled Pokemon with Pickup, such as Lillipup and Alolan Meowth, has a small chance of picking up a Destiny Knot instead. If you’re willing to play with your chances, save your BP for other things.
