Battle Royale

Battle Royale

BP and Prizes

Battle hard and get rewarded. Ace!

The Battle Royale main desk has several NPCs, one of which whom you talk to to sign up, but the others will give you a chance to spend BP for prizes. They are different from the Battle Tree’s so be sure to stop by and pick up what the Battle Tree shop won’t supply you.

BP Shop - Left NPC

This lady sells otherwise expensive vitamin items that provide a big, early boost to EVs. There’s also an Ability Capsule that’s great for swapping a Pokemon’s Ability, if it has two. However, it cannot be used to swap to a Hidden Ability or away from one.

Item BP Cost
HP Up 2 BP
Protein 2 BP
Iron 2 BP
Carbos 2 BP
Calcium 2 BP
Zinc 2 BP
Rare Candy 48 BP
Ability Capsule 100 BP

BP Shop - Middle NPC

This lady sells rare EV-enhancing hold items and an Everstone that you can get from wild Roggenrola or Ilima if you visit him in his bedroom.

Item BP Cost
Power Bracer 16 BP
Power Belt 16 BP
Power Lens 16 BP
Power Band 16 BP
Power Anklet 16 BP
Power Weight 16 BP
Everstone 16 BP

It Pays to Invest

Looking to EV train some Pokemon to bring out their true potential? It’ll be a slog unless you purchase those Power Items, which will give +8 flat to the EV of the stat they correspond to after defeating a Pokemon, and can be doubled through Pokerus.

The total will run you quite a bit of BP, 96 total to be exact, but in exchange you’ll be able to more efficiently EV train Pokemon who can then wipe the floor at both Battle Royale and Battle Tree.

BP Shop - Right NPC

Finally, this lady has a bunch of battle-related hold items. As you can tell from their huge cost, they’re good , but you can get many for free during the story. Useful if you somehow misplaced them, of course.

Item BP Cost
Bright Powder 48 BP
Quick Claw 48 BP
Soothe Bell 48 BP
Scope Lens 48 BP
Leftovers 48 BP
Shell Bell 48 BP
Muscle Band 48 BP
Wise Glasses 48 BP
Expert Belt 48 BP
Zoom Lens 48 BP
Metronome 48 BP
Destiny Knot 48 BP
Icy Rock 48 BP
Item BP Cost
Smooth Rock 48 BP
Heat Rock 48 BP
Damp Rock 48 BP
Float Stone 48 BP
Binding Band 48 BP

Defy your Destiny!

If you’re feeling a bit dry in the throat thinking of the prospect of dumping 48 BP for the Destiny Knot, an absolute must for breeding the perfect Pokemon, think twice before you buy!

A high-leveled Pokemon with Pickup, such as Lillipup and Alolan Meowth, has a small chance of picking up a Destiny Knot instead. If you’re willing to play with your chances, save your BP for other things.
