If you’re heading straight for the trial, this route is super short. Simply head north, then follow the path west from the area signpost. Otherwise, you ought to stick around to see the sights. If you still don’t have any Water-type Pokemon, this is a good chance to stock up.
Anyway, start by heading east from the area signpost, towards the route signpost. Above the route signpost, travel east down the slope to the sandy beach. Here, run all the way down south. At the far end, sniff around with Stoutland to discover a buried Net Ball .
Next, call Lapras and paddle east from the shore. Swimming around a rock towards the south end is a Pokemon trainer.
After that watery encounter, set a course north between the shore to the west and the island to the east. After passing the rock on the left, land on the nearby shore to the north-west. Follow the shore south and search the larger rock at the end for a Pearl .
Run the opposite way and grab the Zygarde Cell (23) by the corner of the cliff and the rock. From here, cautiously head north. You’ll come across a series of six small dens, with a couple of burrowing Pokemon moving between them.
If you time it right, you can make it through without bumping into a Pokemon. Wait until the coast is clear, then run along the east-most or west-most side, staying between the two small dens on that side until it’s safe to move on. Repeat until you reach the other side.
On the other side, head up the slope by the cliff face. At the far end is a Max Repel . Back on the northern shore, paddle north, east from the slope to bump into a floating trainer.
From here, swim east towards the trio of rocks, with a fishing spot in between. Next, head south-east. Halfway between the rocks and the next island a trainer swimming side to side.
Carry on south-east from Casey. Along the way, grab the submerged Antidote along the east side. Further south is a shore for you to disembark and waiting below, stretching and flexing, is the final Pokemon trainer of this area.
Corsola should be familiar. Grass moves are ideal for this coral creature, but Electric and Fighting moves are fine as well.
To finish up, stroll south past Vanessa, deeper into the island. When you reach the fishing spot in the middle, follow it around and pick up TM73 Thunder Wave to the north, below the rocks. That’s all folks. Carry on south-west to leave the island back to the main shore.
New to these parts are Pyukumuku, found while paddling on Lapras, and Staryu, available from fishing spots. Where possible, fish from a bubbling spot, as Staryu are insanely rare otherwise. If you’re unlucky, you’ll find Staryu a lot more easily later on.
