This foggy meadow is the fourth and final Oricorio habitat. Upon entering, travel north through the stretch of tall grass just ahead. Towards the north, there’s a non-battling trainer and a Probopass near a pond. Go west and pick up the Max Potion by the side of the tree. You can also find a Photo Spot nearby.
Next, go east, past the trainer and Probopass. Near the rocky pillar, there’s a shimmering spot that yields a Purple Nectar . If you feed this to Oricorio, it will transform into the Ghost and Flying-type Sensei Style. Anyway, follow the path up the slope leading towards the west. At the top, go south and cross the bridge.
On the other side, grab the Power Lens atop the rocky ledge. This held item works like the Power Anklet found in Poni Plains, but encourages the Special Attack stat to grow instead. Head back to the top of the slope, then proceed north. Along the way, you can harvest some more Purple Nectar before going under the tree roots.
Past the tree roots, walk across the bridge to the east. After that, continue east through the patch of tall grass. If you battled Meredith at Melemele Meadow, Royal Avenue and Ula’ula Meadow, you’ll find her loitering in the corner. Since you’ve come all this way, you should probably go and entertain her once more.
Actor Meredith
Pokémon | Level | Type |
---|---|---|
Oricorio (Sensei) | 57 | Ghost/Flying |
For her final battle, Meredith uses the Ghost and Flying-type Sensei Style Oricorio that’s native to Poni Island. Attack-wise, it can use Revelation Dance and Air Slash for STAB, Teeter Dance to cause confusion, and Roost to restore HP. Electric, Rock, Ice, Dark and Ghost-types are all worthy choices.
Having battled Meredith on every island in Alola, you’ll be rewarded with TM75 Swords Dance . This fearsome move increases the user’s Attack by two stages–perfect for causing massive dents. In any case, carry on north-east across the next bridge. When you reach the east side, head south to discover TM50 Overheat .
Moving on, proceed north along the east side, where you’ll need to wade through some more tall grass. Once you’re free of the grass, head west along the bridge. Continue west for a while until the area widens out. Along the south, there’s a ledge to the right that leads to an empty ledge, followed by a ledge with a Power Herb .
After jumping off the final ledge, you’ll land next to where you went underneath the tree roots. From here, follow the path towards the east to get back to the top of the ledges. Next, cross the bridge to the left of the series of ledges. You’ll end up at a small, rocky plateau towards the south, where a Max Revive is waiting.
Finally, head over to the north-west corner to reach the entrance to Resolution Cave.
Pokémon Checklist
If it’s night time, you can find Misdreavus in the tall grass. Originally this spook could be found in Hau’oli Cemetery in Sun and Moon, but it kind of swapped places with Murkrow. You can also fish for Dratini from the pond near the entrance–as usual, you want the fishing spot to be bubbling.
