This is the only Snorlax you can catch, so save before waking it up!

Head back south and go and heal your Pokémon at Camphrier Town, then head back into Route 7 - Riviere Walk once again, back to where the Snorlax was. When you reach the Pokémon, Shauna will catch up. Give the Poké Flute to the man and then prepare your party so that you can take Snorlax and try to catch it when it wakes up.

Using the Ultra Ball you found earlier might come in handy here. When you’re ready, let the man know and he’ll play the flute. The Snorlax will wake up and strike! Try and catch it if you can!

Wild Pokemon Battle

Pokémon Level Type
Snorlax 15 Normal

Once you’re done battling it, the owner of the palace will drop by and let the guy from the castle keep the Poké Flute . Yay! Feel free to go back into town and heal if you need, then let’s continue exploring the rest of Route 7 - Riviere Walk !

Head over the bridge and you’ll be approached by some of your friends again. They’ll drag you into the Day Care Center just north of you. They’ll give you a nice little explanation of it and you’ll be free to place Pokémon into Day Care if you want to. Once you’re done here, head back out and head west down the path.

When you reach the artist painting, speak with her and you’ll be able to battle.

Tip #014: Pokémon Day Care

If you’re lazy to train a Pokémon, you can leave up to two in the Day Care Centre and they will slowly gain experience and Level Up as you walk. The only bad thing really is that you can’t choose which moves to learn, which is always annoying if they forget a really good move.

Continue along the path and you’ll run into an artist family.

Continue heading west, following the flowers south of the Artist Family. When they end, circle around behind them and head east until you find the X Sp. Def . Head back to the path and head west once more. You’ll reach the Battle Chateau .

Trevs will explain what it is before allowing you to head inside. Head on in. You’ll find Viola inside who will recommend you receive a title. You’ll start with the title of 'Baron' or 'Baroness'! You’ll now be able to partake in battles within the Chateau.

Head on back outside when you’re ready. Keep on going west. You’ll see yet another artist here. Take him on!

Trainer Battle: Artist Pierre

Pokémon Level Type
Smeargle 16 Normal

From there continue on and you’ll find all of your friends have met up and your rival’s suggesting a double battle between the four of you! You and your rival verse Trevs and Tierno. Let’s do it! If you need to, you can say you’re not ready and heal and prepare before coming back and challenging your friends.

Double Battle: Pokemon Trainer Tierno and Pokemon Trainer Trevor
