This city holds another Mega Evolution secret, but only after beating the game.

Head east and you’ll be stopped by someone. You’ll be told that someone here knows about the Legendary Pokemon. How cool! After that she’ll give you 10 Repeat Balls . Awesomeness! Continue east and you’ll reach the Pokémon Center.

Head on inside. Heal up and stock up, then speak with the girl on the eastern side of the center. She’ll hand you one of the following TMs, depending on the time of day:

  • TM35 - Flamethrower
  • TM77 - Psych Up
  • TM90 - Substitute
  • TM32 - Double Team

Once you have one, head back here tomorrow and the day after at different times of day and you’ll receive the other two. Now speak with Mr. Bonding on the west side of the center and he’ll give you Exp. Point Power before leaving. You may as well leave the center yourself. It’s time to explore!

Head outside and speak with the furisode girl by the Center. She can tell you what memories any of your Pokémon have. Feel free to play around with it. Once you’re done head east. When you reach the clothes shop feel free to head inside and buy clothes. Once you’re done, head back outside.

Use your Dowsing Machine to find the Super Repel between the two houses. Now enter the house just east of the shop. Talk with the guy here to receive TM10 - Hidden Power . After that you can speak with him to learn what type of Hidden Power each of your Pokemon can learn, which can be really useful!

Hidden Power can be any Type (eg. Fire, Psychic) depending on the Pokémon.

Outside, you can head south to the gate if you want, but you can’t head on through until a while after you defeat the Anistar City Gym. Instead, head back west and when you see the path leading north, take it. The first house you see on your right contains the man with info about the Legendary Pokémon.

Feel free to head inside and talk with him if you want. Once you’re done, head back outside and move north up to the intersection with the Black Belt nearby. Take the path leading west to move into an area with the sundial. There’s a Photo Spot here if you want to make use of it too.

Just north of the Photo Spot sign is a hidden item. Use the Dowsing Machine to find it. It’s a Sun Stone . Once you’re done, head back the way you came. When you’re back at the intersection, head east and enter the house there. There’s a man here who’s lonely and wants to look after a Pokémon that’s Lv. 5 or below.

Head to the Pokémon Center and grab one out then come back and give it to him. He’ll look after it for three days. Come back and get it back off him and he’ll give you a Comet Shard as thanks. Once you’re ready to, head outside and head north past the Black Belt. You’ll see the Gym down a path to your east. Don’t head there just yet.

Instead keep going north to the cafe at the end. Same deal as normal, pay for a seat and you can talk with people. Once you’re done, head back outside. Now turn on your Dowsing Machine and head west. Use it to find the hidden Pretty Wing . Now head back to the path leading toward the Gym.

Make sure you Pokemon are healed and you have any items you might need, then head down the path and your rival will appear. Time to take them up on that offer of a battle!
