Route 16 leads to the second half of the Lost Hotel.

This route links Dendemill Town and Lumiose City together. Head south and use Strength on the boulder to push it into the hole. Move over it and head west. You’ll see a Sky Trainer on a ledge above you. Feel free to take her on!

Sky Battle: Sky Trainer Clara

Pokémon Level Type
Emolga 38 Electric/Flying
Swellow 40 Normal/Flying

Once you’ve brought her down to ground, turn on your Dowsing Machine and head north into the very tall grass in the abandoned building. Head up to the second floor and use the machine to find the hidden Max Revive . Now head back downstairs and head inside. It’s another part of the Lost Hotel .

Lost Hotel Continued

Head west from the stairs and you’ll find a Punk Guy. Time to beat him senseless!

Trainer Battle: Punk Guy Slater

Poor Dunsparce has next to no redeeming qualities. At least it has Serene Grace.

Pokémon Level Type
Dunsparce 42 Normal

Head west from the Punk Guy and you’ll reach a skater who’ll give you TM56 - Fling . Once you have it, head back east. When you see the path leading north, break the rock just east of it using Rock Smash to find a Dread Plate behind it. Now head up the path leading north. You’ll find some overturned bookshelves and another Punk Guy wandering around.

Tip #044: Careful What You Fling…

The Fling move causes damage and often a special effect by literally launching your Pokemon’s held item at the opponent. In the main quest, Fling will cause you to lose your held item , so be warned if flinging a rare item! In multiplayer battles, you will get your held item back at the end; no sweat.

Trainer Battle: Punk Guy Jacques

Pokémon Level Type
Skuntank 40 Poison/Dark
Crawdaunt 40 Water/Dark

After he’s defeated, head north then west, over to a Punk Girl.

Trainer Battle: Punk Girl Cecile

Pokémon Level Type
Liepard 40 Dark
Liepard 40 Dark

Head south from her. When you see the breakable walls, break the more easterly of the two using Rock Smash. Behind it you’ll find a Protector . Although you can break the next one, there’s no reason to. That’s now all there is to do in the Lost Hotel until we learn the final skating move. Let’s head on out!
