Finish an Era with at least 1000 Food being used by Villages

Ocean Animals and forest Giant plants are your best friends in this development. The ideal situation you’re looking at is to cover the world in forest and simply proceed to clutter its tiles with the aforementioned resources in excess. Focus on placing resources and the villages will come.

Apply Your Aspects - normal practise when adding aspects is to fill a resource’s slots up with the same aspect you use to transfigure it, however in situations like this it’s recommended to apply the aspect that best serves the development. Even if a mineral generates wealth by itself you can still apply a reaction aspect from the Swamp Giant to generate some Tech from the Tile, for instance.

Through a focus on Forest villages the predominant resource will be food, and this will allow for the easy completion of projects (projects that will hopefully generate food of their own).

If you’re having issues then don’t forget about replacing resources once you gain access to improved abilities. Placing level 2 plants with the Forest Giant can lead to Pear Trees that generate 70 Food instead of 40, a rather dramatic increase when applied worldwide…
