Level 3 Developments

Level 3 Developments

Prince of Orange

Finish an Era with a Village with 1000 Food in Use

The strategy to beat this development is a modification of the 'overgrowth' development.

Ambassador farm. Without concerning ourselves with the other Giants we want to set up the Forest giant with 3 Forest Ambassadors and 1 Desert Ambassador. This allows him to place Superior Pear trees and load them up with super powerful Plant Aspects.

Unlocking Ambassadors - You’ll notice that after a certain amount of time ambassadors will stop appearing upon finishing basic projects. The logic to this is as follows;

  • After 6 Ambassadors have been created, no more Ambassadors will appear from the completion of Projects.
  • After 10 Ambassadors have been created, no more Ambassadors will appear after the completion of Project Upgrades.
  • After 14 Ambassadors have appeared, no more Ambassadors will appear after the completion of Great Projects.
Bear this in mind. If you earn 5 Ambassadors from completing basic projects, and then earn a sixth from finishing a Project Upgrade, then you're only making the process of earning ambassadors harder for yourself. As such the best way to earn ambassadors is by finishing six projects, and only then turning attentions to upgrades, then earning four from these before attending to great projects.

One of these superior Pear trees can, when flanked by other plants, generate in excess of 100 Food. The aim, then, is to plant at least ten of these trees within a forest villages borders to achieve this development. Simple.
