Local Demon Bestiary
Note : Hoodlum Horde isn’t found in Nicho.
Once you arrive, head east to find a Dis-Poison in the dead Hunter’s pockets, then northwest to snatch a 1-Star Cosmetics from the building. Go west from there if you want to find some NPC demons in a few buildings, or north from that building to a Corpse.
West of there, you can find two sets of relics: a 1-Star Commodity , then a 2-Star Food . Around the building north of there, you can find two more sets: a 2-Star Commodity , two 2-Star Documents , and a 1-Star Clothing in all. Then go east to find a 2-Star Cosmetics .
Head northwest of there and snatch up the Nerve Gas from the dead body. Then head to the east wall and south. Break down the wormwood to find another Corpse to slay.
Go south of there and into the lower area to the east to find a narrow path. Go along it to find a 1-Star Cosmetics . Continue along the path out to Nicho.
Go ahead and torch the Corpse due south of you. Then head east and north along the wall to find a set of relics: 2-Star Cosmetics and two 1-Star Cosmetics . Head south and excavate the Nerve Gas from the unbattleable corpse, then go west to find one you can battle.
Afterwards, backtrack to the Kabuki-Cho district and exit it normally to the east rather than via that underground tunnel we used.
Shinjuku: Golden Gai
As you traverse this area, beware certain dark holes that will appear, which can trap you. It’s only temporal and non-damaging, but you could be ambushed by demons that are tailing you.
Anyways, go north and along the wall heading eastward to soon find three 1-Star Commodities . Southeast of there is a ladder to the roof of the nearby building. Defeat the Corpse there and climb back down.
Go east and south to the three-way, then head west along it. Nearby, to the south, is a ladder to the top of a nearby building; climb up there and go west to find a Revival Bead on the dead Hunter. Climb down the other, southern ladder and get the 1-Star Commodity to the west before heading east.
The doors behind the Corpse in the southeast corner yield two 2-Star Foods and a 2-Star Commodity , so try to get them before you battle this final one.
That much will finish the mission, rewarding you some EXP. and a Succulent Pork . Just after, before you can even heal, another Demon Hunter arrives - a little for reinforcement.
He’s furious for some reason - some babbling about how Tayama wants to coexist with demons, hence the food-like Reds, and how he’s sick of being locked up underground.
… I don’t quite get how slaying the Corpses really affects want this particular Hunter wants either way, but, eh, violence solves violence - he suddenly swallows one of the Reds and turns into the demon Dullahan!!
Offensively, this boss doesn’t offer much beyond Blight, a party-wide move that could Poison.
As for you? You pretty much can go all-out. Just outright Attacking should finish this boss in two or three turns, whereas using Electric attacks could finish Dullahan before he gets to move. "Can’t beat a human turned demon" … Pffft.
At the end of the battle, you have the choice of killing her entirely. Will you?
- Alignment -1 = Finish her off
- Alignment +1 = Don't finish her off
