Shors Stone

Shor’s Stone is a small village to the north of Riften. Honestly, there’s not much to say about this small place. The local attraction is the ebony mine: Redbelly Mine. There is also a blacksmith in the town. And… that’s about it!

MISCELLANEOUS QUESTS

Clear Redbelly Mine of spiders

Not a very hard task, to be honest. Go talk to the blacksmith, Filnjar. Ask about the mine to learn spiders have taken it over. Offer to clear it out for him. The mine is to the right of his house and inside you will find about SIX Frostbite spiders. Take them all out and tell Filnjar you are done for a 750 gold reward.

Deliver the satchel to Verner in Darkwater Crossing

You can get this quest by talking to the miner Sylgja. She’ll ask if you are headed to Darkwater Crossing. Ask her about it to learn she wants you to take a satchel that way. Agree to do it. Darkwater Crossing is to the northwest and poses no danger. Give the satchel to Verner and he’ll give you one for Syjgja. Return to Sylgja and give it to her for a reward: a silver jeweled necklace. You can now also marry her if you wish. .
