Campaign Missions

Awesomepocalypse

After the introductory scene, and the menu tutorial, run up and grab the Crowbar . You will now have to use melee attacks to kill 5 OD enemies that appear. For the most part, they will come one at a time, but towards the end, keep an eye out just in case you get two at once.

Once all 5 are dead, jump down to the basketball court nearby and bomb-dive the crate for a new weapon – High Fidelity .

Soon after picking up the weapon, a large number of OD enemies will show up, so you’ll have to defend yourself with your new toy. You will soon learn that staying on the ground leads to quickly being overwhelmed and killed, a lesson that is true for the rest of the game! As such, use the crates and top of the fence to grinding around the area, shooting as you go.

Use the Crowbar (left) and the High Fidelity (right) weapons to practice your melee and ranged attacks.

Once you have killed everything, follow Walter. He’ll lead you to the Brewery, a base that is relatively safe from mutants between missions that include a new buddy Floyd and a vendor – Two Hat Jack who sells weapons, ammo and collectible maps. For now, buy the Dirty Harry weapon from Jack. Afterwards, head up the stairs and talk to Floyd for a scene.

When you regain control, you’ll need to head out and destroy the army of scabs who are attacking the barricades nearby. Again, use this as practice to hone your grinding, bouncing and shooting combination skills.

Follow Walter to the Brewery (left). Guard it against the Scabs that show up (right).

After killing everything, return to Floyd to end the mission.
