Shrine Quests

The Eye of the Sandstorm

This Shrine Quest will give you hints on a hidden Shrine's location
It is, however, possible to discover this Shrine yourself

The Eye of the Sandstorm

Note: This Shrine Quest is actually optional. It is entirely possible to track down the hidden Shrine without ever talking to the NPC who will give you this quest. If this happens, talking to the NPC will autocomplete the Shrine Quest.

Speak to Nobiro at the Kara Kara Bazaar during the day to accept this Shrine Quest. Nobiro will tell you about a sandstorm that is said to hold a "treasure" of some sort. He also says that the sandstorm sometimes calms down, but he doesn’t know when. Once it hits 9:00 PM at night, Nobiro will tuck in for the night.

If you stand and wait through 9:00 PM you can see the clouds die down
The Shrine is right up here

It is at this hour that the sandstorm will calm down. If you look in the direction that he is looking during the day, you will see the clouds of the sandstorm during the day. But at night, the clouds will fade away, allowing you to enter safely. The sandstorm abates between 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM.

Go straight in the direction of the clouds and you will eventually come across an enemy camp marked by their trademark, skull-shaped rock. To it’s left is a large cliff. Use Revali’s Gale or have enough stamina to climb up it, and your Sheikah Sensor should start going off. The Shrine is visible from the top of that cliff.

Activate the Dako Tah Shrine and this Shrine Quest will be marked as complete!
