Here, swim down the waterfall like before, but this time go backwards into the cave to claim a Piece of Heart . Next, return outside and swim left to the next screen. You will be in the river behind the Witch’s Hut; continue swimming left to the next screen. Immediately ahead is a set of stairs back to land; ascend the stairs. On land again, there’s a massive waterfall to the left and Maimai #31 stuck on the wall just ahead. After saving the Maimai, leap back into the water.

You can now swim in deep water; press B to swim faster and A to dive underwater for a short period. Go outside and head straight for the deep water; dive to find submerged Maimai #35 and some rupees. Follow the river down to the next screen. Continue down the river to find a wooden bridge; swim under the bridge. Past the bridge, dive to rescue submerged Maimai #32 . Then follow the river down once more; at the end is another set of stairs leading back to land. Step back onto land and dry yourself–the swimming is over for now. However you’ll be swimming again very soon.

With the Zora’s Flippers, you can now access the House of Gales in Lake Hylia. If you haven’t visited the lake already, go one screen right and one screen down from Link’s House to reach it. Lake Hylia is a massive lake and the House of Gales sits on an island in its centre. To reach the House of Gales, jump into the water from the north side of the lake. Swim right toward the shallow water with a wooden stump and from there, swim down.

Along the way you should catch a glimpse of the House of Gales on your right. After you pass it, swim right and you should see a ring of shallow water. Head for the centre of the ring and dive to rescue submerged Maimai #2 . Then swim up go up the stairs leading back to land. There, you’ll find a weather vane, plus a closed door with two pillars on either side. Beyond the door is the House of Gales dungeon.

If this is your second dungeon, warp to Link’s House and speak to Ravio to progress. Either way, having rented the Tornado Rod, use it to blow away the floor tiles in front of the door. This will reveal a red switch, which will open the door to the dungeon when stepped on.

Before entering, go around the right side of the building to find a lone floor tile–use the Tornado Rod here to uncover Maimai #3 . When you’re ready, go through the open door to enter the dungeon.
