A character from Makai Kingdom. She is Overlord Zetta’s daughter. She came from the future to prevent a prophecy. Unlike her father, she is very honest and naive. Like her father, she can shoot beams from her eyes. She says she learned how to do it when she was 5 years old.
In order to unlock Petta as a playable unit, you need to complete the maps in the DLC episode titled Time Traveling. At a first glance, Petta doesn’t seem all too impressive, from a battle standpoint. Her stats/aptitudes are average to good, with HIT/SPD/RES being the best out of the bunch. Since she has an A rank in Guns, that should probably be her best weapon to use. However, where she truly shines is that her elemental resistances are pretty good, with a whopping 75% in Star, which when combined with the fact she learns all of the star spells, means she could also pass as a mage. Petta also has one of the better Overloads in the entire game.
Petta’s Overload is called Future Eye and it allows all allies on the map to use their Overload skill a second time. To farther clarify, your allies don’t need to have used their Overload in order to be able to use them the second time. In fact, you can have Petta use hers the first chance you get, which allows them to use theirs two times in a row, if you wanted. Suffice to say, but Future Eye is one of the best Overloads in the game, as the potential to do some great things is present. For example, you could have Zetta use his Overload twice to get an extra 10 dispatch limit, or you could have Murmur of Rage/Comet Disaster be used twice in a row.
Petta’s unique Evility is called Badass Daughter, which increases the attack of adjacent ally Overlord units by 30%. This may seem like it’s highly situational, but some of the better unique characters in the game are actually Overlords, like Zetta, Killia, Usalia and a few more. A nice boost to their attack will help them deal more damage, so it’s always a plus. Critical Point will increase the critical damage dealt by 30%, whenever enemies are not adjacent to you. This Evility would be great for mages, since they will always be away from enemies.
Volunteer Work decreases the duration of stat drops and ailments for allies on the map by two turns. Considering ailments/stat drops typically last around three turns or so, this can be nice to have, but the ailment Innocents can make you immune to those, so the only thing you have to worry about is the stat drops. The last common Evility is called Veteran Support, which allows the character with it to do a full action (move and do another move) once per turn after using a support magic. Combined with other Evilities that allow you to do an action more than once, this can be a pretty good Evility for someone like a Professor or any other buffer.
There are three major areas in the Disgaea universe, Celestia, which is home to the angels, the Human World, and the Netherworlds. The Netherworlds are split up into a bunch of different ones, each governed by an Overlord, who has their own set of rules. Those very same Netherworlds are now in danger of being destroyed or taken over by an evil army known as The Lost, who is being led Void Dark. However, a ray of hope appears in the form of Killia, who seems to have a deep grudge against Void Dark. Can he really go through the rumored 10 billion Lost soldiers and exact his revenge against Void?
